    Let's talk confetti....
We are getting married in a church so believe it needs to be biodegradable but other than that I'm lost! Do we do Enough for all the guests? And how soon can we buy the confetti. And how much do people need? I've seen the nice smelling stuff not not sure how long they smell for. We are having an old suitcase with a banner saying confetti ( will upload a photo to when complete) and then thinking of having it at the church for people to pick some up on the way out. So thinking of making my own cones. But not sure if that sounds Bout right and what to make the cones from. And how much to allow per peson has been playing on my mind for a few days now.

LIke the idea of confetti, but we're not providing any. If guests want to throw, then they can provide their own - its just another expense!!!

I don't think we will provide any confetti - I would expect guests to bring their own.

I assumed we would have to supply it, so have got some bits but was thinking making my own confetti but not sure how easy it would be, x

Whenever I go to a wedding, I NEVER remember to take confetti with me and always regret it. I just don't think it's something people think of these days. We do however really want a lovely confetti shot so I will be providing some to ensure that we get a really nice shot with lots of confetti.

I've only been to a couple and one had only few bits of confetti and other had none and I thought it was a shame so main reason I'm defiantly doing it plus assumed it was bride who supplied it. Would it be best just to order it from bay of e? Rather than try make it ect?( just the confetti?) as making the sign and holders myself x

Yeah think easier to buy from bay!

The most recent wedding provided it in a white and pink buckets and the best man went down the line and everyone just took a handful - I like the idea of a black and white confetti shop too so Woukd supply my own :-)

We bought confetti cannons for our bridesmaids, and guests brought their own.

The canons were awesome and not very expensive on the bay. (They were rice paper so biodegradable)

We didn't provide any confetti, guests brought their own if they wanted to. There are usually some guests who bring enough to share around.

Never taken any confetti to a wedding, its never in my radar!
Like Nicola I sort of revert it. There's never been any supplied either, so its just been a handful of guests that remembered.

I have always taken it with me to weddings and not been to one where it was supplied. We won't be as nit too gassed about the confetti shot so just a no us if guests bring it. If it's something you definitely want the it's best to buy yourself just in case guests don't bringing.

Note that a lot of venues do not allow confetti or have very specific rules about where it is thrown and the type of confetti

We didn't provide any and weren't bothered about it. It was another expense we could do without and didn't miss it.

Most venues and churches either don't allow it or it must be biodegradable.

I bought some for my Niece as part of her flower girl present, but everybody else bought their own. My MIL bought some extra just in case though. My Sister bought the confetti and made the cones to put it in.

I've seen the cones I want to make and know I want biodegradable confetti so would like to do it myself just wondering when to order. Lala did it cost a lot to make them and how much did you make? X
