I'm thinking about having a black and cream colour scheme and really like the idea of my bridesmaids wearing black. What colour schemes are other people having?

black is nice and i had suggetsed it to my h2b but he didnt want it so we are going with eggplant/plum colours!!

We're having midnight blue. Love the classic-ness of cream and black - looks so smart x

Im having Ivory n Blood Red...

ever since i was a little girl i have wamted this colour, its proving a little difficul as the bridsmaid cant all decide on a dress that matches but they either hurry n decide or they dont be bridesmaid simple..

I was going to have purple. One of the reasons I thought of black bridesmaid dresses, is that as long as they are all in the same satin material they can pick their own dress to suit their body shape. Plus they can wear the dress again. I thought they could be tied in together by either a cream sash around the waist or a large diamante brooch. What do you think?

We are having dusky pink, ivory and a bit of lime green. Very summery and perfect for our tea party theme. xx

I'm having the black/ivory theme too, throwing some silver in there to give it the vintage feel. BMs will be in black, my dress is ivory and black. I was really struggling to find a colour scheme I liked until I came across some black and white wedding theme photos online, and it works really well

i'm having burgundy and ivory with postbox red undertones :)

Baby pink mostly.. but darker pinks in bouquets and wedding cake x

Im having black and ivory too but adding a few silver bits in, my dress is ivory i have black in my flowers but not to much, my bridesmaid is in a black dress and my flowergirl she is in ivory... I love the black and ivory idea as long as its not OTT it looks good in my opinion :) xxx

Navy blue, ivory and silver for us... although I will say that I call the blue I want navy and so do a lot of sites, but it's not that really dark almost black navy!

Think we will be having cadbury purple :D x

I cant decide either. I didnt want pink as I thought alot of people have pink but now I think I might be changing my mind. I have a while before we start sorting things that will need a colour scheme so I'll probably changmy mind 10 times before then xx

we're having pinks and silvers, mainly baby pink though, im feelin the girly theme lol

We were originally going to have royal blue. But the more planning I've done, the less I've managed to get matching shades - so now we've decided just to have different blues. BM's dress is midnight blue, we have a light royal blue ribbon on the cake and also pale blue cake flowers - and I'm now planning to have a mixture of ivory and royal/pale blue in my bouquet (with BM's being ivory). H2b has royal blue ribbon on his buttonhole (with ivory rose). It breaks the colour up a bit and gives us a bit more freedom when buying things.

I'm aiming for a royal blue or cobalt and white but haven't seen much around for the blues....thinking I may struggle. I love the black and white idea, my friends had it and it looked fab. They had black dresses with a white sash and they looked beautiful! x
