Hiya I'm still undecided about what colours to go for? what is everybody else doing? My wedding is going to be may so i'm thinking pastel yellow because its a summery colour... what do you think?

Our colour scheme is green.
Pale yellow would be lovely and a little unusual
Green is my fave colour and something a little out of the ordinary which we wanted (we're not very traditional!)
I guess if you have no clue or preference, google bouquets you like, cakes, table centre pieces etc and if you gather photos of what you like, you may find a colour/theme starts to appear x

I liked purple but htb wasn't struck on it. Don't you need a colour theme when you get married abroad as i haven't looked into it xx
CommentAuthorHa_x3
Its just me and my H2B going, so we arent bothering with a colour scheme x

Yerh thats how i came across yellow, i typed into google brides maids wearing yellow and i thought it was gorgeous, but i've gotta be definitely sure xx

i have gone from a bright pink and turquoise to a more softer sage/mint (depending where to colours from) and a rose pink

We're June and I couldn't pick a colour, so our theme is 'summer brights' which means we have a bit of everything as long as it's bright - bridesmaids are in raspberry pink, liquorice all sorts sweet trees as centrepieces, yellow pinwheels as favours along with brightly frosted cupcakes, bouquets to have yellow, pink, orange, purples and greens in them - our reception is in a tropical greenhouse so most of the trees and plants should be in bloom

It would look lovely and fresh in the photos, especially by the sea if your getting married where you live x
The only thing i would say is yellow does not suit all skin tones so may depend on who you chose to be BM/MOH

We are having a light sage green scheme with accents of a pale dusky pink x I think yellow in may will be stunning, but as Elle23 said, be careful on skin tones etc as its not for everyone unfortunately, you could perhaps team it up with a blue colour, yellow and blue look incredible together xx

Wow they all sound fantastic... its great there is so much to choice, i think everything is nice its more of a case of picking the one really.. luckily the yellow will suit my bridesmaids I'm only having 3 of them 2 are 33 and the other is 7 my little girl and she doesn't care what she wears as long as she looks like a princess for the day lol xx

I'm using claret as our wedding theme, we are getting married in january and thought the red would add some warmth to the wedding x

We're just using the colours in h2b's kilt as our colour scheme which is a deep blue and emerald green. I'll have those colours in my bouquet and my sisters bridesmaid dress will be either the blue or green not decided which. Just hope they don't look too dark for may! x
Looking forward to becoming Mrs MacKay on 30th May 2013!! :)

pale yellow sounds nice
you could even accent it with other pastel spring colours;lilac, pale green, dusty pink,grey/blue.
CommentAuthorJennaLouise
We're having sky blue, silver and white, for our May wedding. I do worry it might look a bit cold, so I'm hoping the flowers 'summer' it up a bit.
Pale yellow sounds nice, I like kitkatm's idea of accenting it with another colour xx

I'm letting my bridesmaids choose the colour seems tho they'll be the ones wearing it... i know its a brave move but i have full faith in them :-) xx

I want navy and white with silver touches here and there. We're also having some tartan since I'm scottish.
I think my theme will be dictated by the venue's colourscheme though. Pink doesn't go with red carpet, for example!
