Hi everyone, im having a dilema! My dress is baby blue & cream (ill just add a few pics to show you)

    blue1.jpg

Cant really tell what cololur it is from those pics, but .... Bridesmaids?? I have no idea what colour to put them in, H2B's kilt is a slightly darker blue & cream. Would you put them in blue too? i get a feeling its going to be way too much of blue. Also i was thinking maybe add dusky pink to flowers (also blue &cream) so could have the bridesmaid in soft/baby pink? or my mum has suggested putting them in silver, maybe blue silver and cream would make it feel too cold? What would you do? I deffo want all our dresses to compliment each other xx

Deffo diffo to what I am doing Im going to be in Emerald Green and was going to put my girls in different shades of green to show the contrast of colours green has or they was going to be put in the same green same dress I think the darker the colour the more In your face it is not subtle Like Hey Look at Meh =D so I would have them in a lighter Blue and maybe change your dress to a darker blue Royal Blue Sapphire Blue etc But you sound like your in Love with your Dress choice as you should be is BEAUTIFUL unless you put them in different shades of blue but they go to the darker side of blue =D ♥ X

I think the silver with the pale blue would be a bit too much and look a bit cold. I've voted fro the darker blue, but I think that a baby pink would look great too.

I'd be tempted to do something different and put them in cream/ivory/off-white :)

I would say have them in cream, have different sashes dependant on role ie:
MOH could have darker blue sash with pink, cream & odd bit of blue flowers
BM's could have pink sash with blue & cream & odd bit of pink flowers
& flower girls baby blue sash with a mixture of pink blue & cream petals?

I really dont think silver would work too well tbh but thats my opinion.

I think pale pink would suit best for your colours as you don't want to much blue or perhaps a soft grey rather than silver x
Omg I love your dress hope you don't mind me asking where you got it from?

I voted dusky pink dresses and then have dusky pink in the flowers. I also think cream dresses would work.

    Also, your dress is amazing!

Thank you everyone. So many different options there, i like the idea of cream with diff coloured sashs Katya! (only problem being my CBM is a 22 and i dont think she would wear cream) Think im going towards the dusky pink and adding that colour into the flowers. Ill take the oldest 3 with me shopping in a few weeks and try them some cream/pink and grey ones on. I could do with going to get a colour swatch of my dress before that.
Claire - no i dont mind at all, its Alfred Angelo 229 diamond cinderella collection, 5 differetn dresses in the blue colour but were only sold up until end of march this year as they're a limited edition, but you can still pick them up at 1/3 of the price at some stockist. Mine was only £399.

You could put them in a blue dress with a sparkle patern to break it up or depending on the amount of bridesmaids you have you could do half in light blue and half in dark blue. You could ask the bridesmaids what they think. Good luck with the wedding your dress is lovely xx

I think I'd introduce a warm colour and a soft pink should work well with the baby blue especially if you tie it in with the flowers

I really want to go with soft pink, but H2B's kilt is blue, i think the men may look a silly with blue kilts and pink cravats, i was going to put them in blue cravats to match my dress. Does it matter if the bridemaids and groomsmen dont "match"? Im not sure on the etiquette regarding button hole flowers with kilts?? maybe a pink flower out of the girls bouquets would be enough to make it look complete? lol .. this is driving me insane. I have 3 adult bridesmaids and 2 under 10's. The 2 younger ones ill put in ivory/cream dresses with a sash/flower to match what ever colour i put the other 3 bridesmaids in x

I would say to match their dresses to yours, and then use accessories to add in other colours like dusky pink if you want them. You could add a jacket or bolero of some kind, or a tiara in a warmer colour. I'm probably going to put my bridesmaids in blue and gold, and match the blue in my flowers and the gold in my dress.
