I am new to the forum but had to share my bestest news that I have managed to get a Vintage Convertible Beetle and matching camper for our Castle/Beach Wedding in Manorbier Castle West Wales in June 2012.
It has been booked through LoveDub Weddings and I cant wait!!!
What vehicles do most other people choose and why????

havnt thought about it yet h2b wants an aston martin - quite pricey for a day hire though - i think the deposit is about 5000 just incase you scratch it lol :-) x

Wow that sounds lovely. Congrats on getting them. I wanted a Ducati superbike but it didnt work with the whole dress and hair thing so I have a horse and carriage instead

I'm with G.I on the superbike :) Mine would have been a Yam R1 though! We went for a 1933 Morris Oxford called 'Monty' I saw him at a local wedding fair when I went with my mum, sat in him, talked to the chauffeur for a good hour and I was in love!! Took Ross to see him and with Monty's interior being wood and Ross being a carpenter..........he understood how I'd manage to fall for him big time! Not the cheapest but he's perfect :)

A Pink limo barbie car for the BMs A baby bentley limo for the H2B and his party.. But i've not chosen what I want for me and my dad yet, is has to be disabled friendly cause we're both disabled. So easy to get into and out of.. And not too low to the floor or high off the ground either! lol.. Not that i'm fussy or anything x

hehe.. I was secretly hoping to get 2 Pink barbie limos so I could go in one with my dad aswell as the BMs going in one.. But for 1 it'll look too odd. and for 2 neither me or my dad could get in or out of the bloomin thing lol x

I've not really decided on my actual wedding cars but my H2B and I are major petrol heads. We both own Mk1 Escorts and are planning on having a guard of honour of Mk1 and Mk2 escorts courtesy of our fellow club members. I'm so excited.

I actually aren't that bothered about cars.. On a budget and would rather spend the money on other things although is h2b has his way him and the ushers will be having Lambo's .... Which is not happening lol.. I'm just gonna find someone with a nice car and kindly ask to borrow it for the day.. Make sure it's washed and stick a ribbon on it lol!! xx

i wanted a VW beetle....my h2b wasnt keen on the idea though lol. I would love to have a bmw or a jaguar : ) lol We decided we didnt want a really old car, but didnt want anything too overly modern and flashy, so there we have it. i didnt want a sports car either, cos i dont think id look right getting out of the car in a massive dress lol. But yea fingers crossed for one of them, our friend is doing the cars for us so should be good : )

I would love a beetle....the companies were a little to far out though. My uncle has just got a new car and he said he would take me. Im so happy cos it makes it a little more personal. Matt is driving in his beloved Ka lol. His choice though :D xxx

I may not even need cars either Lola as I'm planning on getting married at the venue too but if I decide to get ready at home then i'll need a car to get me to the place. lol.
My photographer, who is in the same car club, has a Mk1 Lotus Cortina so I may just kill 2 birds with one stone and ask him if I could use his car. lol.

I'm not sure what we are doing about cars, it really doesnt bother me. We are staying about 40 minutes away from the castle, so may end up just using our own cars. BIL has offered to drive one of his vintage land rovers for us. xx

I am having my 1969 VW Squareback, he is gorgeous and baby blue so he fits in perfectly with our colour theme, we may also use our T25 camper for H2B to get there but rust doesn't fit in quite so well :s
