Sales! I managed to get my bridesmiad jewellery (a necklace and earring set) for £3 each at Debs! Also got my shoes for £14 in the sale at N3xt, and got some round gold placemats (to go under the centrepieces) from Matalan after xmas in the sale for 10p each! Also got my cake topper ornament from B&M for £1.99 and they have loads of bargains in there! Also got little bridesmaid bags with teddies in for the flower girls reduced from £6 eahc to £1.25 in T3sc0's! Just shop around as much as you can, and you will find that most of the bargains will be found when you aren't looking for them! I got all of these when I was in shops looking for something else! lol I also got my veil free with my dress and got a hair comb for 99p off of the rainforest site and my tiara in the sale at Debs again for £25 xx

Go straight to the factories and suppliers! I've joined a trade site for the Chinese factories and you can literally get anything from them at bargain prices! Xx

No they are all dipped metals so they should be fine, plus they will stay in their boxes until the day so shouldn't get oxidised :) xx

Is it the air that makes them go funny? Just I'd like to get mine but worry about spending money and it going to waste coz of the oxygen x

Yeah its the oxygen mixing with the metals that makes them rust and discolour, so as long as they are tightly packed in a box or sealable bag they will be fine :) xx

It also help if you store them with a dehumidifying product, they sell pouches in the shop that work a treat

Thanks ladies will keep eye out on v print. We are quite crafty so happy to do some stationary ourselves. When I say we I mean me n my mum lol. Although my oh will help with some things. I'm not one for fake flowers unfortunately coz I know their cheaper but can't stand them. X

Me and H2B are very crafty but v ista p rint is just so much easier, less hassle and doesn't cost much, if any more than making them yourself.. Especially seeing as there is so much matching stationary pieces on there too..

Haha, I'm getting a fake one for exact same reasons sita !! As well as wanting black roses which if real are either very dark red or dyed which then comes out of the flower if it gets squished and I don't fancy black dye on my dress !! And I'm having lillies which my cousin had and ended up with bit orange stains on her dress from the seed powder stuff lillies have ! xxx

I keep trying eBay but to be honest dont know specifically what I want as worried if I make a decision and spend money and then later it doesn't match and I've wasted money. I'm awful at making choices lol x

I'm like that sometimes but other times it just pops into my head that I need certain things, I got cufflinks, fg headbands, and now I'm looking for a pocket watch

I have DIY'd alot of things.

    - h2b's ring would have cost £1186 just for his, we made an app with forever and he designed the one he liked and we got a pair of rings for £1036.
    - made my own flowers with faux flowers from £land (i got white ones & used perm marker to get the colours i wanted, they dont leak) £10 which includes my bouquet, 2x bridesmaids single stems, 4x buttonholes
-Stationery - £20 colemans (card, embelishments, double sided tape, wording stickers, scorer)
    - post box £5 (so far) i used an old box a tube of you video so see how to do it, hinges, padlock, sticky back plastic just need to decorate it now

    I used the bay for...
    garter £1.67
    Tiara - £4.50
    Alice bands (BM's) £2.89 each x 2
    1947 Silver sixpence £1.89

£land for cufflinks that match our rings

I saw a favour idea i liked and copied it.... as soon as i get ink i will print and put a photo on my diary but they are little scrolls. the ones i found to buy are tiny (a6 maybe?) with a lil poem on & 50 for £28.95 plus p&p, however found parchment for £4.25 & rings to hold them rolled up for £3.68 so £21 cheaper!

It really is about looking round for things. find what you like then lookfor the items to make it yourself as it is probably going to be cheaper to do it yourself.
