Thanks Millz090 xx She is a Shih Tzu and is almost 7 months old, she'll be 2 when we get married. We love her to pieces and everyone thinks she is adorable. We're thinking of getting her to be the ring bearer at the ceremony, my little nephew who will be 9 will be in charge of her xx

Awww loving this doggy pics, your dogs are BEAUTIFUL @XboxWidow, I just love huskies.
I think its a brill idea, me and h2b thought about it cause we both adore his family dog, (shes a springer spaniel) but like others have said, shes a bit excitable and can be barky sometimes so we've decided not to. But go for it :)

I am a complete wimp when it comes to dogs and totally scared regardless of what breed, size, shape or colour BUT if I went to a wedding with a doggie there it wouldn't upset me at all because it's your special day and I fully appreciate to a lot of dog owners it would be like not having your children there. GO FOR IT!!! xxxx

Iluvcakes your dog is so cute!! Thankyou to everyone for the lovely comments about our dogs. My h2b suffers from post traumatic stress disorder from the gulf war and the dogs help him greatly. Its a proven fact dogs help with PTSD.

I am sure they do, they help with all kinds of disorders or difficulties - physically or mentally. They are lovely creatures. Hope your h2b is ok/better soon.
We once had a husky/dachshound mix. The husky was the mum :-) He was one beautiful but funny looking dog!

We were always joking about that :-) He was brown but looked like a dark husky on very short legs :-)

I say bring the dog! I run a wedding catering company, so have seen lots of them...One of the most memorable was a vet's wedding that was gate-crashed by their lovely dog who was all dressed up in a colour coordinated bow. The photographer got some fab photos of a three way first dance!

To each their own! I'm not a doggy person - I certainly don't have a problem with them I just never bond with them the way some people do - but when my partner and I starte getting serious (didn't take long!) I had to accept the fact that they are going to be a part of my life whenever we stop renting. If we have a dog before we marry I know he'll want it there, but I've told him I'd rather not for the full day because they do get super excited, so at least keep them out of the way until after the ceremony!

You all have such lovely dogs and if you want them at your weddings go for it, i lost my dog sal to cancer last year, but if she was still here would have loved her to be at our wedding xx
