How come the scrabble thing doesn't work? We aren't sure what touches we are having yet, might steal some ideas too lol. Am thinking of jam jars with fabric covers on lids other than that haven't a clue. Going to do as much stationary I can myself to keep costs down x

I made my own cake toppers which are now goign to be top table centre peices as im having the nerdiest cake ever made. making my own save the dates and invites. They were going to be doctor who ones, now im wavering so need to have a think on that one! my table names will all be hand made to represent a tv show or film

Well me and my oh are both comic book sci-fi fans so we are having the tables names like the sounds you know POW and BOOM and THWACK ect and me and the bridal party are all having super hero heels a different one for each girl and the grooms will have their male counter parts on their socks and there are a few more things but we are'nt concrete on them as of yet LOL xx

we have named a star after ever guest and printed them out on scrolls as wedding favours.
I have done all the invites, card settings, table plans etc myself and as we are doing a tour of some of europe for the honeymoon everything is lugage label shapped.
I found mini bottles of bubbles shapped in champagne glasses and lil silver scatter decorations in champagne glasses as everyone knows I love a glass of bubbly lol

For our vows I am giving H2B lil gifts to represent the vows I will make 2 pieces of cord tied in a lovers knot. I promise love him and remember the love that has bought us to the point in marriage and the vows we make will be the knot that binds us even when i feel annoyed or angry with him.

A £1 coin=I will promise to share everything I have with Stephen down to my last.,

a pair of blue lego brick cufflinks=I promise to place my trust in him as this is the building bricks of our relationship, marriage is not the end of our journey but the start and the trust we have in each other on our wedding day is what will build a strong and healthy relationship. (blue is the colour to represent trust)

A rock=I will promise be his rock in the both easy and hard times and I know he is mine and has proven this in recent difficult times

Football programme man city vs. spurs =I promise to respect him even when we clearly do not agree ( he is spurs me city )

Cooking apron=I promise to allow him free access to the kitchen...he moans I never give him control of the kitchen

For the scrabble board, instead of just your two names linking directly with each other, could you have words like love, forever, trust etc linking them together?

Ive just bought a fab vintage mirror to put a seating plan on and im thinking of a photo display of some type.

Ive been reading about including family and friends into the wedding and I like the idea of tables named after married couple/partners. Although oh family is split and I think it might upset the elderly generation as some havent come to terms with divorces and remarriage in their families.
But I also like the idea of tables named after parts of "our song" - but its chris browns forever...lol and like oh says we cant call all the tables forever haha!

Oooh and for our first dance my dad is going to lead me onto the dance floor and we will dance for a few seconds on the intro music into our song then 'hand me over' to h2b as the singing starts.

Were doing a photo college.. one side will be pictures of me growing up, the either side him and then in the middle pics of us together and the kids etc.. xx

Haha oh thats not good. Weve had quite a few shoots together.. were lacking casual photos of us as both pretty poo at taking photos! X

have you done your seating plan yet? maybe you could use scrabble pieces on that.
for your wedding favours why not use scrabble pieces for the initials of each guest, so they know that the favour is theirs as their name is on it.
if you had travel scrabble on every table as previously suggested, people may play with these during the night.
