Well Ladies,
My underwear arrived and........ it fits perfect :-)...... but it's not low enough in the back ...... I am so gutted.:-( So I spent yesterday looking at the internet and going to every shop I could get to and only managed to find one Basque . It's Black!!!! Pics on my wall I even looked at two piece sets but Nothing was low enough in my size (34gg). I would wear no bra but I breast fed twins for 9 months and need all the extra support I can get....lol.
So my question to you ladies is.........would you wear black under your dress????

Oh dear thats not good.Have you tried the seperates in the same range -I have just ordered the deep suspender and long line bra in although i am panicking now that it might be too high in the back! I suppose you could wear black if you are sure it wont show through and ordinarily black would always be my colour of choice-especially for sexiness value.However for bridal i do like the ivory colours and intend to stick to them xxx

I have tried separates too in that line and others... even long line bras...but NO GOOD so far. I know what you mean Black, it's my normal colour of choice too. I am hoping it cant be seen too so I can stop looking cos I am getting a little Frustrated about it :-0(. If it does work I think H2B will like it cos I think he is expecting Ivory/Whit too...

I think I would prefer ivory but if it came down to black or nothing, I would wear black. Your dress material looks pretty thick so I dont think you will be able to see the colour through which would be my main worry, I would just make sure you have a bit of gap between the top of the dress and the start of the underwear so it doesnt peak through at the top

They are both called evie - so must be similar :) I think its really annoying that they don't show the backs - there/s a range called masquerade - which look really pretty and are the right size but have no back pics - surely one of the important things about strapless bras is how low the back is :s

I received the Ivory panache-evie-bridal-basque ....... it fits PERFECTLY and is just low enough in the back :-) Problem Solved So for any of you ladies out there with a larger bust and a low back dress have a look at this it my work for you too.

I bought a corsett for wearing under my other dress, but then I changed my dress and it is a corsett already and I think I would faint wearing 2 corsets, so I just ordered this.....I have read loads of reviews on it from big busted women, and all are good reviews.....Its a wonderbra ultimate strapless, it cost me £32. I am a 38E, hoping this will be perfect under my dress.
My friend raves about that bra anne, she keeps telling me to get one but i havent got round to it yet!

I was going to buy the same bra for my dress cause of the amazing reviews. But as my dress is only plastic boned it doesn't sit right on me without a proper steel boned corset. I have one but it's a bit too big for me and teal and you can see it sticking up over the dress! So I've now ordered this:

Oh Anne you will not be disappointed.I am 42 and have had so many strapless bras over the years and all have been rubbish.This is the first and only strapless bra that has done what it has supposed to do .....it is fabulous and is exactly what i will be wearing under my wedding dress....good choice xxxx

I am so happy to hear that. I actually ordered 2, I ordered the lacey one above, and a plain nude one. I will probably return the one I like the least, BUT if they are as comfy as everyone says they are, well its no ill store to keep it is it? and if its that comfy, I might as well just keep it as most bras are not that great when you get above a C cup are they, and I am an E, and the shoulder straps hurt me sometimes.....
My corset cost me £35 and its a beautiful one, but I cant wear it as its too much, but I imagine I will wear it at some point so it wont have been a waste.

yep the wonderbra is amazing im 36dd at the min i was heavier and 36e last year it still fits now and is out of this world, my wedding dress has a bit of the back missing so i may try on a backless body on with it if not i dont know lol h2b wants me to wear stockings etc underneath but im not sure yet as ill have them on all day lol x

I really hope it holds me, my dress is strapless but also has detachable spaghetti straps, so I might or might not wear the straps, I will see how much the bra holds me. If I dont feel its quite enough support, then I will wear the straps on the dress....
