Just wondered what to put at the front of our guest book. i want to thank everyone for coming and encourage them to write something nice, witty, funny etc- any one know any ideas or know of any good wedsites!!
ive found this poem so far:

Please write a message in this book,
For the bride and groom to treasure.
These memories will keep our day alive,
    Bringing joy we cannot measure.
All your good wishes will be kept secure,
    Bound up within this book,
And once in a while we'll open it,
    And take another look.

but wondered if anyone knew anything else?? and how to add on that id like funny statements/comments too!!

Were having a signing frame instead :-)
T be honest we had one at my 1st wedding and it was left open on the page for the next person to write in it, so nobody saw the front page :-( Everyone read it when they came round after the wedding lol, that sounds lovely tho Lisa

perhaps you could put it on card beside the book for people to see as well as in the book.

We are having a photo taken of the two of us, then i'm going to get it framed and put that up for people to sign, and have the glass put in after the wedding. My brother had one at his wedding and it looks lovely on the wall.

    Hi,

That sounds realy nice. In our guest book, we only put the date on the first page and the invitation, and we have asked our guest to write in it.
We have all types of comments: funny, serious, formal and even drawings fron the kids. It is nicve to read all this now.

Yeah I surpose Ginge23 but it's just something different.
Most guests should have the common sense to make sure their hands are clean.... actually after that thought I might leave a nice note next to mine making sure they do lol. :)
