Sounds lovely mrs mcleish - I've often wondered why alot of places have a trio of desserts but all are chocolate... I think I'd be more inclined to pick it if they were 3 different desserts instead if you know what I mean? x

we were going to have a trio, but H2B didnt fancy the choices. I wanted to choose summer fruit pudding, chocolate covered strawberries and lemon cheescake....we could choose from about 12 different combinations and I really wanted it but hey ho.

I'd love to have a trio of different desserts to give everyone a choice but when I mentioned it to the venue they weren't too enthusiastic about it.
They said they'd do bread and butter pudding as h2b's suggestion or they've offered us chocolate creme brulee with cookies. They're both nice so might be cheeky and ask if I can have both lol x

I've seen some menus that offer a dessert "trio" - so three little portions of maybe pavlova, cheesecake and something chocolatey... might go for that so people have a little of everything!

can you make one? just buy the profiteroles and stick them together with melted sugar....
easy for me to say i know but, can you find a baker that could make you one? would your venue allow you to bring one in?
I am telling my venue its a substitute wedding cake for those that dont like fruit cake.....Big lie but hey ho!

I don't think i could make one lol but i'm sure somebody else could. It's just the expense that's a problem, i'm sure a baker would charge a lot and we have a budget wedding. I need to know someone who's really good at these sort of things! lol x

Well I wouldnt be having one if my friend hadnt offered.....I have no idea how much they are but i wouldnt even have enquired, but when she offered I snatched her hand off.....I told her not to get us a wedding present, and the croquembouche would be our gift from her....so it was win-win.
