My h2bs bestman is a woman I could do with some ideas too. Also do you buy ushers gifts? Oh and both Mums don't like cut flowers so ideas for them would be great too!

Our ushers are our two nieces who are both fourteen and thought we'd get them maybe a really nice mobile phone charm or something. I'm having the same problem with our mums too, cos one is travelling down from Scotland by train so flowers are out and mine is in hospital at mo and not sure she's going to make it out yet and if she does it may only be for the ceremony. My daughter is a bridesmaid she's 4, we got her a tiny silver locket to wear on the day but i'm bound to buy her another teddy to her collection too lol xx

I don't think we're doing gifts; no-one has any 'duties', and we're paying for new clothes, food and drink as it is. I might change my mind nearer the time, but if we did get anything it would be something small, like a bottle of whiskey, nothing fancy.

I got my h2b cufflinks. I've also been a sneaky monkey, lol. A while ago he was talking about one of his uncles he wanted at the wedding but hadn't heard from him for sometime or where he was living. We found him on fb 2 weeks ago and said it's a bit late to ask him now and so I got in touch and have invited him as a surprise. His family knew i was going to as asked his mum first what she thought but now i've gone one step further and said to everyone he can't make it cos it's a bit late notice to get time off work. Unbeknown to his dad whose brother it is and his family and h2b we decided to make it a suprise for all of them and he's trying to sort it so he can come down the day before and suprise all of them. I've been bursting to tell someone lol xx

we haev got all the men cufflinks and socks with their roles for the day on, we also have got my dad, bestman and both ushers engraved hip flasks, got our page boy (my brother) a personalised money box, with his role and date of wedding on, and our ring bearer (our son) is using a teddy to carry the rings down teh aisle then he is keeping that after xx

we have got chocolate bars with personalised wrappers :) At christmas we also bought them cufflinks, they kinda guessed the first time they would wear them would be our wedding :) x

We have bought our pageboys silver yo-yo's with a message engraved on them, our bridesmaids personalised silver trinket box, personalised cufflinks for the men and an engraved wine glass for H2B's Bestman who is a women (lol)

We have ordered some glasses that will be engraved. They come in a gift box and will be personal - they like a drink lol! My brothers are having whiskey glasses and h2bs brothers are having pint glasses. x
