i think im going to put mine on the other hand and just leave it there as the e-ring and wedding ring dont fit together and i dont like how it looks lol, he bought me a bloody round ring, and my wedding ring was inherited, so i couldnt really get one to fit the shape and i certainly dont want to be messing with the shape of it. I think the only other option i may have, is to have a bit of the e-ring altered so i can slide it under it.... ):

Oh well I hadn't even thought of this but it seems the norm is to just swap it over, I don't like to take my ring off for too long so I'll just swap them over lol xx

I like the traditional ering on right hand til after ceremony then wring on first but it's personal preference I'd say. Hails ering vow is a lovely idea :)

I had to google, i found that people actually stop wearing their engagement rings after they get married, I personally will wear mine always, i love my ring, i love what it stands for and i love the man who gave it to me!

On the original subject, i wore my sisters engagement ring on her wedding day at the ceremony and gave it back to her at the reception. I'll be doing the same and giving mine to her to look after for me xx

On the day I think I'm going to leave it home, and then maybe wear it on the other hand it's a weird shape my engagement ring so it won't sit nicely with the wedding ring. (see piccy in my album)

i was recently having this discussion with my parents and have decided that i am going to keep my e ring on an just swap them round later on as opposed to taking it off and having it on other hand i hate not having it on i feel like im a fake fiancee if i dont have my ring on!! i hate it! so i am firmly decided on wearing it throughout the day! no matter what anyone says!! xxx
