Argh..!!!! I could bloody scream. My H2B came home from his mums last night and dropped the bombshell that a close family friend of his mum and dads has been having an affair behind her husbands back and confessed all at the weekend. They are subsequently splitting up and getting divorced! I feel awful for the husband he is really lovely and as a couple they have given us our wedding cars, a black Jag, and 2 black morris minors. That is where the problem lies!!! Now they are getting divorced they are not going to want to spend any length of time together and as they were supposed to both be driving (along with their grown up son) I am really worried now that they may not give us the cars.
I don't know if this is making sense i'm just rambling because i'm so stressed about this. Of course i feel awful for them as they are lovely but i'm also worried about the cars. I obviously can't ask them about it yet as it's only just happened but I really can't afford any other cars!!! I think i need a cup of tea!!! :( x

oh dear what a shame, put the kettle on and take a couple of deep breaths im glad i dont need to worry about cars as me and bridesmaids etc are staying at the venue the night before, do you know any other friends who have nice cars that would do it for you? xxxx

stop worrying .... they would be driving one car each so they have no need to spend any time speaking to each other .....
leave it for a couple of weeks to let the dust settle then contact the one you feel you can speak to and be blunt and ask about the cars
I know i'm worrying for the sake of worrying lol. I just kept waking up in the night and thinkng about it, thinking about all the things that could go wrong!! I thought planning a wedding was supposed to be enjoyable lol :) xx

It is enjoyable! Just got to let them figure it out then ask the question.. In the mean time it may be worth just enquiring about other transport options if the worst happened.. But it will all work out keep the faith :D

That is something else i'm looking into Tsukijin, bloody nightmare lol. I'm not feeling too bad about it now i was being an irrational bridezilla this morning, think it was the lack of sleep tbh!! It'll all work out in the end and if it doesn't it just wasn't meant to be xxx

No such thing as irrational bridezilla when a bombshell like that is dropped so close to the big day. I like your philosophy though - if it doesnt happen it isnt meant to be. Fingers crossed that it gets sorted for you!
