Just been out tonight with h2b's family - and as we're getting married in Gretna they've just booked their hotel a few weeks ago. H2b's stepmum got an email a couple of days ago telling her that the hotel they booked into has gone bankrupt!!! They've paid in full for 2 nights (a double room and a twin for h2b's gran and her friend) - but the email said they'll get a refund in due course.
I'm really glad it's not the hotel we're booked in for the reception - but who'd have thought that a hotel in Gretna would have gone bankrupt!!! It's been so hard for them to find somewhere for August this year and now they're back to square one.

I feel sorry for them but there are other alternatives there. Something will come up

They've been trying for ages to get a hotel because the one we're having for our reception is fully booked. The couple of hotels next door are also booked up as my family have booked there (but booked last year). We were discussing it earlier and I think they're going to try the Premier Inn or Travelodge in Annan - it's about 5/6 miles away but at least they can get a taxi (better than nothing).
