Over the last few months Ive had my Uncle, 2 cousins and their families state they cannot come to my wedding for no real reason in my mind.
but last week my so called best friend cancelled, stating that a court date has been brought forward to mid August, and she wont be able to attend, not even for the ceremony and breakfast

Am i wrong to dismiss her excise as being pathetic, My wedding is on Sunday, and if anything would be a nice break away for a day and to take her mind of the court case (she was abused as a child and only just come to court 20 yrs later)
maybe i am wrong and should apologise for my action stating that her excuse was pathetic, not that she has replied back since, Usually i feel she only ever calls or texts when she wants something, and when I ask, it falls on deaf ears??

Out of all my family, I have only my mum and my sisters family coming, my brother has his head up his @$$ caus i dont like men in that way?? so as a result I feel I cannot invite my SIL and her 2 children, as it could put her in a predicament

But after all this, as far as I care, The people that are making a effort, I love them so much, and my partners family are all coming apart from 1 family invite declined, so makes up for 75% of all the guests attending, I feel so lucky to be apart of my new family and to be accepted within their fold, even after the hard start Kim and I had by them lol

    Lol I ranted out xx

i know how you feel sophie. you can only take so much, i found out in feb im pregnant after my mum nagging for 2 yrs for me and hubby to start family, and now i am pregnant shes kicking us out, we going to sign homeless register tomos, and she turned up on my wedding day COVERED in hickies and then like i said, her, my gran, my grandad and my sister all left after 5 mins in reception and my brother and his wife left after an hr. rays family were the only ones who stayed the entire time and they have been there for me so much.

its rays family who have been going with me to the council and doctors appointments for support. safe to say my mum will not be welcome in mine and rays home unless she is polite and decent (her boyfriend isnt welcome at all cos only been since she got with him she wants us to move out and him to move in) and she wont be babysitting the baby or being left alone with baby, if she continues picking fights with me she will not be in babys life at all cos ive ended up in a+e one night after a huge fight cos i got splitting pains and they were worried i was havin a miscarriage through stress, baby isnt growing properly because of stress... seems like you always think your family will be there and when you get older they show their true colors x x x

bless Caz, Rays family seems great :-) OMG mum arriving with hikkies?? I'd die of embarrassment, even at my wee age of 21, 21 times over lol

You sound so much better off with Rays family, Im in similar situation with my mum re my son, She loves my son, but can be very abrupt very often and I cant stand that, even when she is around here, she trys to interfere, but dont get far, as i usually say he's a kid and stuff like that.

Good luck on the house hunting, hope you get somewhere soon, I dont know too much about that stuff re council, im too impatient for it.
You have a fantastic and bright future with Ray and baby and your family on Rays side, they are the ones who shown they care, and probably will be beside you all in your future.
Im desperate for that love, and when Kim and I move, we will be 2hrs closer to her family, and will take us around hour and half, to get to them and they even say they will come to us more, as it is, it is basically a weekend away lol xx
