Well we did it!!! First day back home today, hence the delay of being back on here. Last week went in a blur of drama with the ties not matching and one bridesmiads dress not fitting (some of the alterations I'd paid for hadn't been done) so me sitting and sewing on straps and last but not least me getting attacked by my bridesmaids dog the day before and having a red tooth mark across my right arm which has slowly turned into a huge bruise now!
Anyway the day went perfectly, the sun even came out for pictures before I left my Mums :) It was dry all day, if a little chilly, but I'd much rather that than sweltering sun I would have been passing out! We both got through the ceremony without any tears (although H2B was filled up when I got to him) as soon as I got hold of his hands all my nerves went and I just enjoyed the whole day.
I really does fly by, but we had an amazing time.
There are some pics from the day on facebook which other people have put on, we won't get them back from the photographer for a while yet. I'll steal some from facebook and upload them into my album on here too.

Hmmmm, the dog attack wasn't so good. Think the dog knew something different was going on and just got scared and decided to go for me! Luckily I moved quickly enough and grabbed his collar with my left hand but obviously didn't move my right arm quite fast enough, he only just caught me tho and it didnt feel too bad so was surprised to see a red tooth mark and knew it would bruise. H2B was more upset than me (although there were a few tears from me it was just shock!) and it didn't look too bad on the day, because it was on the underside of my arm hopefully you can't really see it in the pics and our profession photographers said they could photoshop it out (hopefully they can photoshop out the 2 spots that decided to come up on my chin too, which I was much more bothered about than my arm!).

OOooooo, whats a "rock the frock" shoot?! I've only heard of "destroy the dress" shoot and I definately don't want to do that!!!
Stirk House is beautiful and it was perfect for us, near to my family's farm and a country house just like I always dreamed of :)

OOooooooo!!! excited again! Just found somewhere 10 mins from home that does boudoir and fash the dress shoots! Just need to save up £435 so I can go do it! The pictures would be a perfect 30th present for my new husband next Feb!

MrsOwen2b it was a sword to cut the cake and yes it was huge but not very sharp!
FernP61 I think the dog just got scared/over excited 'cos he knew something different was going on, it was still the last thing I expected him to do tho! It's my bridesmaids dog and she was devastated, off to the vet's for the dog to get castrated to see if that calms him down, if not more drastic action may have to be taken. Husband's more upset about it than me and made the point what if it had been a child that the dog had gone for!?
