we're having a chat about venues for wedding & reception when the reception brochures get here
unsure on transport and photographer cuz we may have people in our families to do them
h2b is sorting food, dj, suits - he hasn't started bless him!
we're making invites, save the dates & favours but we haven't finalised anything
I'm sorting decor, flowers, bridesmaids, cake & my dress
I've know what I want decor-wise but need to talk to h2b about it
I have a rough idea for flowers & bridesmaids dresses but haven't looked at anything yet
and I have even began to look for my dress! or the cake! but my nan might be making it

Our photographers were £999 but that is for the two of them and we get them from when I get ready to the end of the night. That includes a disc of all the photos and also a pre shoot.

They are even being kind enough to do a post shoot for us as I don't think I will be able to last the whole day so they will do another shoot for the couple shots after the day. I couldn't have wished for a better couple as they really do care about pleasing the client and making sure they get everything they need. I can put a link on your wall if you accept the friend request.

I'm the same Maria! & so's h2b tbh lol - he did say that he'd found the perfect place for honeymoon in the brochure lol! for some ungodly reason he wants to go somewhere COLD! but he did say that he wants me all to himself and somewhere we can cuddle up in front of a fire too... I'm still not too keen though lol xx

aww katherine thats sweet of him to say that, but see what your saying i want to go abroad and somewhere hot but not sure if its possible yet due to my 3 girls 2 of them would have no problems me leaving them but my 3yr old is a different story cant leave her for more than a few hours at the moment, so if we have to take the kids on honeymoon will be somewhere in the uk but hopefully would find somewhere nice not just a caravan in brean lol xx

Has anyone been to any wedding fayres they can recommend? We went to the one at the village hotel in coventry the other week and I wasn't impressed at all. Most stalls just handed out business cards and recommended us to look at their website...barely even a display to be seen. There were only button up dresses, no corsets in the fashion show as they only had two models! A huge let down.

i think the best one i went to was at Aston Villa they give your champers on arrival plenty of suppliers and they even do fashon shows

a dress shop i highly recommend is one at the house of fraiser in bham city centre wonderful ladies very willing to help even without a appoinment xx

is it inside the shop or near by i think there is one not far from there

I'm from Stoke but getting married at Tamworth Registry Office and then the wedding breakfast and evening reception are at the Lea Marston Hotel. My sis in law to be had hers there last year so she rang them up for us to see if they had the same package that she had as we didn't know where to start with the whole thing. We have been to two wedding receptions there in total and really like the venue..........plus there is a swimming pool lol, all OH's family like a swim the morning after, hope I haven't got a hangover like I did have for SIL's wedding! :/ x

Im in shard end and get married on 5th april 2014, we havent booked anything yet, but ive ordered my dress from Caroline James in House of Fraser in town. And I've designed our stationery, BM, MOH & FG headwear and dresses. Oh and got my shoes months ago!!! lol x
