I'm doing to same honey church then reception at a britannia hotel. I'm from Coventry I think thats about a 30 min drive from where you are. I would try a hotel chain for reception like macdonald, britannia, best western someone like that as they all have good deals on with extras added in. Our reception is costing us just over 3000 pounds and thats for 100 guests in the daytime and 250 at night. Our church is costing us 500 pounds in total. What's your budget honey? x

just noticed your other post about rowton castle. we couldnt afford the whole package so we are getting married at the local reg office then having just the reception at rowton. were having a hog roast for 100 people and its £13.50 per head. room hires free. paying for dj seperatley. but i suppose if you want the whole sit down meal thing with an evening buffet after then rowton is rather expensive. my whole wedding, including dress has come to no more than £3000. x

Yes babe but it will get easier. Our budget is 9000 but we can afford to save more as I live with my H2B and the MIL at the moment so we dont pay much rent which is good as we're trying to buy a house. I would suggest making invitations, favours and centrepieces. This will save you money. Ebay will be a god send and always keep your eye out for sales in department stores like debenhams I got my gorgeous wedding shoes for 20 quid!!
