Hi there, so we are gettin married abroad. We will get our holiday insruance from te.s.c.o as its cheap and cheerful, however the travel company have said we would need seperate wedding insurance for the weddin aspect/package. also we are having a do back here which has cost us about £2400 and we have been advised to get that insured under wedding insurance, not to mention the rings clothes etc....so were do we get it from i have no idea how to go about it, what to expect, what we put for each catergory...PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you been on one of the comparison sites? Bet you'd find something on there. I got ours for a bargain £19 but we're just church then reception, not going abroad so don't know if that's different? :0)

    Can't wait to be married!

I am not sure but please be careful of the cheaper options. After reading the terms and conditions for all the cheaper options it said that they wont pay out for anything booked up to the date before you take it out. Most ppl put depsoits down on venues n dresses etc before buying insurance so please double check this. In the end we ended up going with a nice big department store beginning with D that sells pretty much anything. You could always ask them about insurance for abroad?

I'm not sure about insurance for a destination wedding, but we went with John Lewis - covered us for everything we needed. It was more expensive than the other companies, but as Suzky said, watch out for the t&cs.

I'll leave the link on your wall. We got married in Vegas and then a month later had a reception back here. The thing you need to watch out for is the length of time between the actual wedding and the reception. Most wedding ins co's will only offer 14 days between the two. This is the only one I found that suited us.
We had 10K of cover and paid £28. Was worth every penny for the peace of mind. Hx
