We are both SO excited.
We have just provisionally booked our wedding venue - south shields town hall!
We are pencilled in for 4pm saturday august 10th 2013.
We go and view thursday 3pm and pay deposit.

We figured out if we skip an afternoon buffet for those coming to the wedding, we can afford this!
Going to go straight from the wedding, take photos and then to evening reception.

I am whooping, clapping and bouncing all over the place!

I went in there once before and it is lush inside, we get use of the staircase for photo's too.
We're planning the photos now, going to go to to the big park near the beach or photos and a train ride (big kids), have photo's in the bandstand and on the stairs etc, then on the beach, along the pier thing, and then into the amusement rides, and if they will let us we're going on the trampoline's lol!

it's lvoely from that angle, what you dont see (and dont have to lol) is the road that goes right round the building ha ha.
I dont care, it is a lovely building inside too. I dont think they will let us take photos inside when we view thursday but if they do i will grab a few

I just came accross a video by tyneside register ofices, the first venue on there is the town hall OH MY GOD, i love that staircase. I think the large room it shows you near the end of that venues clip is the room we are having.

we were just looking at rolls of tulle netting for the bm's dresses etc, and came up with the idea of using some to decorate the banisters on the stairs at the town hall! We have igured out how we can do it without sticking or pininng it to the banisters at all.
So excited :)

right well, we are just about to leave and go to view our venue. It takes around an hour to get there by public transport, so we're allowing an extra half an hour just in case and so we dont have to rush the short walk at the other end.

We are BOTH so excited, even though none of our family and friends seem to be, pah to them lol.
I even have butterflies ha ha ha

Well, the venue looks so nice, we're booked and deposit paid.
we can decorate the stairs handrails like we wanted, but we cant take the dog :( Oh well.
Then we discovered the registrar office is about 50 feet away, so we went and paid their deposit too :)

We're so excited and feel so lucky.
