Just ordered an cream/ivory pair of Wellington Boots for the big day... Once I saw them online I totally fell in love with them... had to convince H2B though but that wasnt very difficult as he isn't much taller than me I used the excuse that he wouldnt like it if I'd be taller than him if I'd wear heels... also cant wear heels for long anyway... now since as we moved the date to october it will be just perfect excuse to wear wellies anyway and good thing about them is that u are able to wear them over and over again afterwards :) and best thing my mum loves them, too...
what are you girls thinking about it?? Anyone having as well a "strange" choice of their shoes for the big day?

Cant wait till they arrive... might be arriving in 5days or so... so happy xx

i will defo post a pic as soon they arrive :)

will probably have a look into primark to find a pair of ballerinas for my first dance though as i guess i probably look like farmes daughter dancing in wellies :D

they were about £45 still kind of expensive for wellies but yeah they are going to be my wedding shoes so well worth it :D and if i like I can change the color of the ribbons into my color scheme :)

I want some i live in the countryside so pretty much live in my wellies which are black with multi coloured smilie faces on. When i mentioned to h2b he laughed i think he thought i was taking the mick. I have bought my wedding shoes pic in my album but worried about wearing them when photos taken outside cos the mud would really mark them and probably ruin the fabric so on hunt for cheap flats for the pictures

you can probably buy some sort of wax or spray or something to help keep em shiny...I know I had a latex corset that I kept shiny by using a carespray for "lovetoys" hahahaha

I would think so, there's no chance of them "drying out" and cracking is there?

Excellent idea. I'm also getting married in the country, and really want some photos in the meadow by the lake, but don't want to get wet feet walking through the long grass. I am thinking of getting some of the short Hunters in a funky colour, I really like the bright purple ones!
