Hi, we got engaged the day i got off my first deployment, about 2 months ago and i happened to come accross this site, i have to say it's becoming very helpful for things so thank you for that. Hello 2 all u B2B's, i'm new 2nite on this site and soooo glad i found it, just having a look round and seems im gonna get so much help i think im gonna need.....anyway I'm Melissa and gettin married to Marc on 30th June 2012, we've been together 6 years now and got engaged in june 2010. Aswell as planning a wedding we are also about to go through ivf treatment and were both giving up smoking so u can proberly imagine me sitting here pulling my hair out with stress! lol. I'm glad iv found somthing like this so i can speak to likeminded ladies and get help and advice...people around me think i'm stressing too much because my wedding is not for 19 months yet but there not seeing it like me!!! so much to do to make it perfect for us on a tight budget!! Hey everyone! My name (as my screen name suggests) is Nisha. My fiance and I got engaged back in January and we're starting to plan our wedding now. We originally planned to get married in 2012 so we had enough time to get financially stable (we're recent graduates who got hit by the lack of employment). However, luck turned in our favour and we now have the means to buy our first house and live together comfortably. So the wedding has moved to 2011- aaaah!
So that's the story- I'm looking forward to trading ideas and stories. Our main hurdle at the moment is the venue. Then comes our ceremony- I'm a Pagan and he's Christian. We've worked out a way to combine our religions into one ceremony... its just finding the perfect setting that our priest and priestess can get to. So another venue issue, really, haha.
Look forward to getting to know everyone here :D

Hi everyone, our wedding is on the 08/08/11 (anniversary of our first date) in Las Vegas. We've booked the Chapel and package that we want (and no its not an Elvis wedding) now just to book the flights and hotel. We've trying to do everything on a budget and i've limited us to £3000.00 for everything......................thats so not going to happen.
If anyone has any ideas or experience of Las Vegas weddings any help would be grately appreciated.

Hi, Just joined today. My hubbie to be and I got engaged this summer after just finding each other again after 16 year break last Christmas. Booked 18th June 2011 for the wedding but just been told need more surgery after last lot failed (been disabled for 4.5 years through pregnancy) so wondering whether to pospone either the wedding or surgery. I want to keep the wedding date as my 4 year old daughter is very excited and it would be great if she could start school with us all having the same surname. Thinking of a village fate theme for our wedding and having the service with Olivia (my daughter) having a central role, more of a becomming a family than man and wife. If anybody has any ideas I would be really grateful Lydia xx
