Hey all. I have a newbie question....what are the rules on discussing suppliers???

NO ONE can advertise their business, products, or services on the UKbride Forum. Even if you are a client of UKbride you are not permitted to promote here.

NO links are to be posted in the forum, if you want to share something youve found, then please by all means let ppl know in the forum but post the link to the profile wall of those who would like to look or on your own.

All advertising will be DELETED by the moderators!

Advertising on the forum or blatant advertising on members walls or through pm is also not tolerated.

No names of other sites/companies/shops that do the things ukbride does will not be permitted, ie if you find another site that has the same wedding tools that we do then you may post to ppls walls IF asked but do not name in the forum.
Well known sites like facebook and ebay can be used in convo but NO links to them may be used (most ppl use nicknames for these like bay of e and face ache, which is fine if you wish to do this if unsure).

Hi everybody. I'm a newbie :-)
My boyfriend proposed to me in Cape Town, South Africa in January and we're hoping to get married in September this year!!
I'm a lincolnshire bride-to-be and am really battling with venues. I don't know the area very well as I've only been in the UK for 2 years which doesn't help either. If anyone has any good ideas please let me know.
Also am I able to post a new discussion or do I need to be a power user?

Bluefunk-you don't have to be a power user just go to 'start a new discussion'..make sure you pick the category for your topic and write away :)

I fyou scroll to the top of the page then underneath the pink banner that stretches across the top of discussions, there is a grey box called 'start new discussion'. Just click on that, pick your catagory and away you go!
We're getting married in Vegas on 15 Sept and having a reception back home in London on 15 Oct - can't wait!

My name is Kirsten. I joined the site a few months ago but have not really posted very much other than adding the date of my wedding. I am getting married on the 16th September 11in Carnoustie, Scotland. I think I have a bit of wedding OCD as I already have quite a lot for my wedding booked and i have more than 7 months to go. I've only recently joined and this is the first time I have been on the forum.

Ive been engagaged for 2 years after being with my now fiance for over 4 years, we are aiming to get married july the 13th 2013, i have 2 years to save and plan the wedding we just want to get married now!

Tips, hints and help would be greatly appreciated!! We have a reasonable budget, are hopefully having our wedding in a county manor Leez priory chelmsford , breakfast and reception all in one place we both have a big family and lots of friends to find a budget for lol starting planning a few bits and bobs and starting saving this month.

i'm stuck for ideas and advice
