I'm new to this don't have any friends on this yet so if you are getting married on june 23rd 2012 please feel free to add me as thats my wedding date. I'm getting married in a church in a small village that i grew up and where my Dad still lives today.
Me and my partner are so excided. I have ordered my wedding dress already (It corset) so it dosn't matter really if I loose wait or gain weight.
I'm having trouble finding cheap wedding day/evening invites thou, So if anyone knows of anywhere cheap please relpy.
I'm loving wedding planning I know that you will too :)

Hey everyone,

I'm new here. My other half and I got engaged on the 11th April - he took me to Venice for my birthday and popped the question on the evening we got there. We haven't set an official date yet - but I think we're looking at June 2013 (need enough time to save some pennies!)

We've looked at a few venues, and found one that we really love.. but it asks for a £2k deposit (which we don't have at the moment as we're in the middle of buying a house), so we're holding off for now.. which is why June 2013 is a temporary date now ;)

Hi Everyone!
Iv just joined and really excited about getting maried to Mr Ward hopefully 26th May 2012. I say hopefully as im waiting for the venue to confirm. This site is great and can give me the clear outlines i have been struggling with like the budget:( We got engaged the day after my birthday on March 1st 2011. We were in Tenerife in a lovely restaurant that overlooked the sea. We are looking to have a country fete/ vintage feel at our wedding. Any other brides going for this theme out ther add me!!

I'm very new to all this. Met my other half on a 17th got engaged nearly 6 years later (on a 17th) & yes we are getting married on a 17th (this one was planned!!) I'm a total novice at this and having to do a lot of the planning myself so all tips hint and helpful shoves in the right direction very much appreciated!!

Hi there, I'm Hayley, I am 32 and will be getting married on the 26th August this year to Simon who I have been with for almost 11 years. We have three children who will be in our wedding party and are just as excited as we are. We will be flying out to Mexico for 10 days for our honeymoon which will be our first trip abroad together, and Simon's first flight (and only my second!)!

We're just signing the contracts on the house we've bought, and have £1500 worth of electrics that needs doing... so trying to find £2000 to put down as a deposit is just not going to happen at the moment. Its a shame, because the total cost she gave us seemed very reasonable - £2k isn't even 10% of it, its nearly 20%!

My name is Annette,I'm 25 and I'm a sort of non-traditional bride I guess as I'm pretty covered in tattoos and so is my h2b.
We'll be having a pretty traditional wedding though, with just a few quirky details to make it our own :)
My biggest problem is finding a venue who will do it all outdoors (marquee) in the Cheshire area.
We are getting married summer 2013, nothing really set in stone yet, but I've started the planning for real!
