hey, i joined quite a while ago but haven't been back on as another baby coming postponed the wedding! Now, the church is booked the STD's are sent and im trying to fit the rest all into place! I will be getting married on thursday 9th May 2013 which is our 7 year anniversary! We are on a small budget, we are not setting an actual figure as i dont want to be constantly worrying myself over how much it is costing. i will just be looking for the offers and and shopping around until i find the bargains. Hiya I have been with my fella 7 years this October and engaged 6 years next Feb. With money problems and chldren coming along my h2b has always had a reason why we can't afford it. Two of my friends got married last weekend and it really got me down looking at their piccies so I have told him in no uncertain terms that we WILL be discussing it when we get back off holiday in 3 weeks time. Doing all my research now so I have 'stuff' to bring to the table and cost ideas. I am thinking maybe April or October 2014. Look forward to chatting to you all.

Totally new to this! Been engaged now for nearly 2 months, but been with my fiance for over 8 years!! I'd always said I wasn't bothered about getting married...the thought of being a bride petrifies me!! Plus i'm the biggest worrier so I think it makes sense why I've never been sold on the whole wedding idea! But here I am starting to think about plans.....!!!

Ok now for my modly bit.....
FIRSTLY can I ask you all to read the forum rule thread that is at the top of the page as it not only lets you know all our dos and donts within the forum it also explains all you need to know with regards to our heart and points system as well as a few other need to know bits.
Secondly for all you newbies that havent a clue where to start please read a thread called "a brides checklist" this has an amazing list of exactly what to do and when, when your planning your wedding and is a BRILLANT help! To find this thread go to the search above and type in the thread name as above and the thread will pop up for you :-)
Thirdly when writing a thread please remember to use the search above first because most questions have been asked so there are many threads available that have some brillant tips and advice in them that would be a shame to waste simply because you missed them.
Fourthly alot of you have your profiles restricted. To get the full benefit of the site you need to unrestrict them so the ladies can add you as friends and so they can put links on the wall if your trying to find something as they are not allowed in the forum. To unrestrict your page all you need to do is go to your wedding page by clicking the wedding button above. Then under your wedding countdown clock there is an edit button. Click that and it will take you to a page where all your details are, at the bottom is profile settings so just click that to public and your all set to go! :-)
And lastly JUST ENJOY BEING A MEMBER OF UKB AND PLANNING YOUR WEDDING DAY
