Hiya :) Im not new to forums, but I don't really know where to start with this one haha! I'm abit of a geek, so I should find my way round soon enough, or dissapear off lost into the depths of the internet D:
Originally planned on getting married next year, though plans seem to be getting scuppered by the impending need of a new bathroom and kitchen (which, if I'm honest I'd like to be done before we're married) so we haven't actually set a date yet but we have picked a venue and we agree (Wahay!)
Hopefully I won't dissapear into the aforementioned depths and become somewhat active around here :)

Hi everyone
I joined a couple of months ago but have been mega busy so have only really gone on the site properly today. I'm getting married on 14th August 2013. I have my venue and all that sorted and my dress, that's it so far! I've got lots of ideas and kinda know what I/we (it's his day too, lol) want to have. Just a case of getting quotes and booking, and trying to stick to a budget.
Excited to look on here for any hints/tips, especially with doing some things myself, as a DIY bride!

I'm Bethany, i'm 19 and i'm engaged to my partner of 4years, Andrew. We got engaged on the 18th May and we havent done any planning AT ALL. We want it to be a fairly long engagement so we're hoping to get married 2014 time. Our engagement party is in less than 3weeks, so that will be a bundle of laughs!

Sooo new to this site, going to take alot of getting used to!
I'm Cat and i've been engaged since christmas 2010 and i've been with my partner Matt for four years in september. Were getting married on the 25th May 2013! So far i've planned alot and wedding plans are becoming on the verge of being obsessive hehe!
I've so far booked the church, the reception, the cars, chosen and put deposit down on dress, got wedding shoes, got bridesmaids dresses and all the rest i know what i want the prices and where to get them from! so u can tell i've been busy oops! Just going to focus on getting my notice of marriage cert ASAP so a phone call to the reg office tomorrow is needed!

Ive been a member on this site for a while but not really used it, I got engaged to my fiance in November last year, we were on holiday with my parents in florida and he popped the question at discovery cove after our dolphin swim, it was soo cute, in front of my parents and lots of other strangers in the pool beneath a waterfall! We are getting married on 20th April 2013 in Plympton, Devon, am super excited, venue is booked, deposit on dress and cake, I had chosen my dresses on the bay of e however the seller disappeard into oblivion!! So Im back to square one, currently having a debate - do I go for the really expensive £200 bridesmaid dresses that I have fallen in love with or do I be realistic and buy the £55 ones from the bay of e and use the extra cash to pay for a honeymoon? I know what I should be opting for but I love the expensive ones!!! Help!!!

Hi, I am new to this site too, wedding this year 27th December, we got engaged in January, but I love organising and so all the main things are booked, just the little things like pew ends and tiaras to sort.
Tammy, I would go for the lovely dresses...after all you are only going to do this once! You should have the wedding you want. We are delaying the honeymoon to be able to have the wedding we want first. We are getting Debenhams vouchers,as wedding gift, that can be used to pay for a virgin holiday, for our honeymoon.
