Hi everyone. I am new UK Bride member planning my wedding for December 2017. Just have a quick question for u all, bit if advice need. I am planning on going about 45mins away to my venue from the church however I am worried about the light for photos due to the time of year. Has anyone got any advice or past experience on this? Thanks Natalie x
CommentAuthorStephH96
Hi Natalie welcome to the site :) What time are you looking to get married? You could do outside shots at the church rather than the venue to help with the light if you're worried.
Hi. Thank you. We are planning on getting married at 12:00pm however we probably wouldn't get to the venue until about 2:00pm due to the journey. I am planning on having my sit down meal at 4:00pm, do you think 1 hour and a half is enough time to have photos? Thanks,

We had 30-45 minutes with our photographer, with 1 guest (married in USA). Have you had a look through the threads here? If you can't find many answers open up a new discussion you'll probably get more responses.

There's a thread on here with a checklist on it. I've found it very useful! There are things that might not apply to you in particular, same as there are things not on there that you might want included. But as it covers most things! I printed it out and have been checking it off as I go. (I also have about 20 other lists! Lmao) xx

Im stuck for ideas xx
CommentAuthorAnnemarieH
Hi All
Just thought i'd say hello as a newbie, but trying to get my backside into gear as we've booked the big day for 5th August and know it will be here before we know it.
Been engaged for a few years now and finally decided we need to tie the knot haha :-) Church is booked now attending weekly so we can become members as its not in our parish, venue is booked work in hotels so it helps and makes it sooo much easier, pretty much got a million thoughts in my head. We are going for a 1920's twist not full on theme wedding but little touches as we are collectors of art deco and love that era ... only things is there is so many beautiful 1920's/Gatsby ideas I want them all
xx

Hi everyone, I am Kerry and I finally got engaged last week, but we are getting plans underway already (would have done it sooner but we did the baby thing first). All set for 11th August 2018. Seems like it is so far away and I can't wait, but I know it will be here before I know it as the time will fly. We will need every second as we are planning a lot of D.I.Y aspects for it. Very exited about having a look around the forums for ideas and tips :) xx

Hi!
Realised I posted a question before introducing myself. My fiance and I are getting married on 02.08.17 in N. Wales and so far planning has been relatively stress free- band, photographer, venue, florist, hair stylist, make up artist, bar and caterer all booked and save the dates sent out. Feels like the big stuff is done and I still feel like I have ages! I have however just returned to work after maternity leave and we have an 8 month old so I daren't speak too soon!

Hi Everyone! :D
My name is Stephanie and My h2b popped the question on our 10th Anniversary 2 weeks ago. We are childhood sweethearts and I still can't believe it's time to actually plan a wedding. We are thinking of having a fall wedding in 2018, so we've got plenty of time.
Loving this community so far and can't wait to get right into the planning! xx
