Hey MichelleK272, Im Kayleigh I joined this site a few month ago and Im from Newcastle upon Tyne, me and my partner have 2 gorgeous children and have been planning our wedding what feels like forever! We eventually decided last year we were going to actually do it and so here we are. Weve had constant ups and downs with money he got made redundant from where hes been for 8 years and trying to find work now is nearly impossible, I ended up with 3 jobs working to try and keep us going barely making anything then eventually after months of struggling he managed to find something and has been there 2 year now. So we decided last year, we are going to make it happen! So we are also having our wedding in August 2014. Cant wait, my stomach is in knots with excitement and to finally think I will officially be Mrs.Allan!! :) good luck and I bet youre children will look gorgeous :) xx

Hi lovely ladies! I have just joined this site as a way to hopefully guide me in the right direction & help me with planning my wedding. My Fiance & I have been together for almost 13 years & we have a beautiful 11 year old Daughter, we got engaged on Christmas Eve of 2007 but have never been able to afford to get married & have put it off ever since. Anyway, after an awful year in 2011 (losing 2 babies & my Mother-In-Law passing away), I have decided that life is too short to keep putting things off & I want to marry Rob soooo much it hurts SO, I have spoken with the vicar at our local parish church & reserved 31st May 2014 (our 14th anniversay), now I am trying to do everything properly but on a budget & to pull in favours from as many friends & family as I can, in order to make our big day a success. NIGHTMARE! LOL!... Wish me luck! Haha!

Hey Girls, my name is Hannah and i'm 20 in March, starting to plan my wedding. Been engaged for just over 2 years now, also have a little boy with my future hubby. We got engaged as soon as i found out i was pregnant. We loved eachother so much that we got engaged, not just because of the baby but the love (people think its for the baby but we do love eachother dearly). So hopefully i can get the money to get married because you only get one shot at this and I want it to be special. I'm new to the forums, got engaged in September 2012 after 5 glorious years together and now trying to plan the wedding for May 31st 2014....got the church and priest booked and a possible dress chosen... The rest...we'll have to see! It's already seeming stressful and with both of us being in the military and away from hoem and each other often, its even harder! Need help!

Ok now for my modly bit.....

FIRSTLY can I ask you all to read the forum rule thread that is at the top of the forum page as it not only lets you know all our do's and don'ts within the forum it also explains all you need to know with regards to our heart and points system as well as a few other need to know bits.

Secondly if you haven't a clue where to start please read a thread called "a brides checklist" this has an amazing list of exactly what to do and when, when your planning your wedding and is a BRILLIANT help!
To find this thread go to the search above and type in the thread name as above and the thread will pop up for you :-)

Thirdly when writing a thread please remember to use the search above first because most questions have been asked so there are many threads available that have some brilliant tips and advice in them that would be a shame to waste simply because you missed them.

Fourthly, to get the full benefit of the site you need to un-restrict them so the ladies can add you as friends and so they can put links on the wall if your trying to find something as they are not allowed in the forum.
To un-restrict your page all you need to do is go to your wedding page by clicking the wedding button above. Then under your wedding countdown clock there is an edit button. Click that and it will take you to a page where all your details are, at the bottom is profile settings so just click that to public and your all set to go! :-)

And lastly JUST ENJOY BEING A MEMBER OF UKB AND PLANNING YOUR WEDDING DAY!
