    Hi Ladies
We have included in our package, a welcome drink for our guests after the ceremony

We are yet to look at the options but the venue have said they are only suggestions and they are flexible

Got me wondering what you are all having as your welcome drink?

We're having prosecco. I would have liked a mix, so a choice of that, maybe pimms, maybe a few beers for the men but the venue said no! x

We had sparkling wine, orange juice or bucks fizz ... we had to make sure we had a non-alcoholic drink as we had a couple of "on the wagon" alcoholics

I am thinking in throwing in a hot chocolate too as it will be a winter wedding and if dry will keep the guests warm outside during photographs - maybe add a flavour (mint, hazlenut etc) too - won't be calorie counting then so might go for the cream and marshmallows too!!!!!!

oooh hot choclate sounds fab ... I went to a wedding in November where they served winter pimms and mulled wine ... considering I was driving it wasn't great for me ... the bar wasn't opened until after the meal and speeches (about 9pm) and on the tables we only had one bottle of water between 10 and four bottles of wine! I was parched by the time I could get a drink!

Ours will be 2 glasses of buck's fizz. We wanted to provide 2 as due to photos it will probably be over an hour, and we felt one wasn't enough, and we went with buck's fizz as most people like it (we felt something like Pimm's might be dodgy as a fair few people we know, myself included, aren't fans), and it isn't too strong; we felt that giving people 2 glasses of sparkling wine (which was originally in our drinks package) when they won't have eaten properly for several hours might get people a bit tipsy.

I'm not even sure what were having as we are doing it all ourselves at a local sports pavilion, probably something along the line of pimms/bucks fizz and my favourite perry chaumet for the toasts :)
