Some really great losses here! Sijen you look great in the pics hun, well done. Blondmumma size 16 to a 12 is brilliant! I posted a while ago when I'd gone back onto cambridge but it wasnt working out for me - too much money, not enough willpower = fail!
So... i've started back on weight watchers today. I've ordered my dress but currently it's 2 inches too small on the waist. I know if i got right into exercising I could sort that out in no time but I'd like to lose weight too so aiming for the 1-2lbs a week as it'll still give me 3 to 4 stones by the wedding if I'm losing consistently x

Copenhagen Diet, quite strict and difficult but really does work. After that I will just continue healthy eating and excercises to not get jojo effect
That's a massive weightloss in one week hun, I've never heard of that diet before. Well done, but do be careful as 1-2lbs max is a good, healthy and natural weightloss, anything more is your body in starvation mode and you will start to lose muscle tissue.

omg that is a huuuuuge weight loss. Is it all fat loss as sometimes big losses like this lose water or muscle. I suggest if you are losing huge amounts to get a muscle/fat ratio scale so you can check your muscle mass is not going down. Just to be on the safe side.

nice healthy tea tonight. I tried for the first time some b.eye fish in tomato and olive oil, served with veggies and new potatos. Only 8 pro points too for all of it. Did have some cherries too but they tasted a bit chemically... not impressed with them,

i lost another 1.5lbs today which brings me to 17lbs loss is 8 weeks. i have just over 6 weeks left till the wedding so am hoping now to do another 6lbs at least then i will be extactic. i have already lost more than i originally set myself to loose but now i know i can do it i want to carry on :)

well I still have until sun to weigh in but jumped on scale and I have lost 1.5lbs already and am now 8st 11.75 lbs wooooooooop! Hopefully I can be 8st 11 properly by sunday but I think I have to go to a leaving do fri so how bad is a small steak with a plain jkt potato? Surely they will have that in the pub and is it too bad?

I knew i wouldnt get away with it, havent food optimised at all this week and the damage was 3lb gain. so - onwards and upwards! that will be off this week, lots of superfree and no more custard creams!!!

So I've been on a super strict diet and getting trained by a personal trainer friend for the toning once a week alongside a personal training plan. On Tuesday my workout consisted of starting with skipping on the spot as fast as i could-so fast that when I stopped the skipping rope carried on and I have a huge whip across my arm. I then started on rope work on the floor to tone my arms-banging a thick rope as hard as i could in different movements-worked so hard (harder than it sounds) and was sick in the Tyne. Then was doing the movement fast again caught my thumb nail in my finger and didn't realise till I saw the blood pouring down my finger. It is all worth it though cos in 8 days I have lost 7.5 inches from all over my body! I have weigh in tonight at sw so hoping for a good result-I only need 8lb to hit target but have hen party at the end of the month and wanna wear a tiny dress ha ha xx

hey Every1, i'm not dieting as i'm not particularly over weight so i joined bootcamp last monday i have done 5 sessions so far and have lost: 2" off each arm (girth not length lol) 1.5" of each thigh & 0.5" off my hips
my bust and waist have remained the same! (which is a good thing as i can't affort to lose any off my bust as it is!)
i can't wait to see what will happen if i stick it out!

nervous about weight now as it was parents evening tonight so I got given a ham s.wich and a nana courtesy of school but didnt get in until 8ish so didnt really want to eat that late so just had some soup. Problem now is that I was doomed either way. I think I will gain weight given that I havent eaten enough for the day but it was that and hope for the best, or eat a proper meal but at 9pm which if far too late. uh oh. Guess I will have to wait and see. And I am going the pub for a leaving do tomo night so not a good end to the week. Theres not even a menu I can look at online to have a nose to see which options are best for me.

I have been dieting now for three weeks, sometimes I get on the scales and think yayyyy I've lost it and then the next day it's back on again! So disheartening. Hopefully now though, if I stick to it now is the time it will actually start dropping off.

Wow you're all doing amazing! I joined slimming world a couple of years ago and lost 2.5 stone in 5 months! I stopped going though and starting to regret it now,. TOld H2b the diet and exercise starts again soon to lose the final stone that I would like gone! Now to fight the chocolate temptation! x

Thought i would join in, the wedding is a long way off compared to a lot of you girls but i want to lose the weight before dress shopping. At least that way i will know exactly how it will look on rather than guessing! SO.......Zumba every Fri night (6pm so i best get a wriggle on and get OFF here!!) SW starts on Tuesday, never done it before I did WW this time last year and lost 10lb in 6 weeks so if i can match that, i will be happy
Ideally would like to lose 2 stone for the wedding. That will take me to 8st 12lb We go on holiday in 10 weeks so i would like to be 10st by then (need to lose 12lb in 10 weeks) Is this achievable on SW and doing zumba once a week?

Definitely achievable, one lady at weigh in last night had lost 4.5 lbs after her first week! My weight loss has been slow but then again I've really upped the exercise so this will explain why - in 9 months I've only lost 4 lbs but I've dropped a dress size as my wedding dress now fits!

I lost 3lb this week so 12lb in 2 weeks! Very pleased! Here's hoping I can get to 1 stone by next weigh in next Thursday! Has anyone got a link to where on NHS site I can see what weight I should be aiming for? I've looked everywhere but can only see what BMI I should be.

It depends on your height and weight etc, but on average 1 BMI point is about half a stone - my target is another stone off for now but that still puts me in obese, but a stone is a dress size and as I'm curvy, not sure I want to drop below a 12/14!

I found out my weight when I'd lost 10% and set my first target to be just below that, then as time goes on you can re-adjust your target when you see how you're doing :-)

LynP.... I am 5ft 8in and aiming for a size 12-14....I have always weighed loads though, even when I was a size 8 I was nearly 11 stone!...At the mo I am 13 and a 1/2 stone and a 14-16 I reckon another 10 lbs will do it. I always go on how my clothes feel rather than my weight as I find it a bit depressing compared to everyone else..... good luck! x

not impressed.... since thurs I gained 1.25lbs for no obvious reason. I have not over eaten. Gutted. Goal is 8st 11 by tomo and now I am 8st 12.5 so dont know how I am going to hit that now. Off to gym maybe? gutted!

Aww hun don't be so down on ya self your body goes up and down few lbs aweek, that's why the specialize say don't weigh yourself every day and make sure its the same time each week x

well I weighed myself this morning after eating ym prawn thing which never fails to lose weight, and it lived up to the job, got back to 8st 11.5lbs so at least its close to what I was 3 days ago. Just a bit disheartened as target was 8st 11 dead on for today but never mind. As long as I get to 8st 6 by 31st I am happy enough.

Girls!! Well done to you all, loosing weight healthly is a slow process and best to do it slowly to keep it off.
But i really need some tips...Ok so i'm nearly 5ft 3, as of this morning i was 9st, i really want to lose half a stone which i know sounds very do-able however i'm confused about how much i should be eating, i havent particularly been eating a lot but then i wonder if thats why i dont seem to be shifting it but havent been feeling hungry so figure i'm eating enough. Generally through the week i have 2 slices of toast with marmite for breakfast 3 pieces of fruit throughout the day and maybe a low fat snack bar and then just a normal dinner in the evening which i think is plenty as i am still eating a proper meal in the night.
Also because i dont have a lot to lose i think it's harder to shift it when ur in ur healthy weight range but we all know ourselves what weight suits us and our body type.

Well done. I have been a little naughty this week but stuck with the 2 shakes and healthy meal and 2 bits of fruit yesterday and checked this morning and 1lb down with 1 day to go till weigh in, lol. Need to lose 1 more to get to 1 stone off in 3 weeks! Just gotta be good today! I WILL do it!!!!

Hi nules, thanks for that. Gives me an idea now as I am very heavy for my size too. I was a size 24 when I started 3 weeks ago. I have now bought size 20 jeans and they fit!!!!! I'm gonna take the plunge now and tell you all my weight! :-( I started at 20st 2lb almost 3 weeks ago. Weigh in tomorrow but had a sneaky weigh this morning and was 19st 3lb. Still have a huge way to go but haven't been under 19st for years so I can't wait to see if I can hit that next week. Just need a bit more willpower and to say no when offered naughty food when round my parents! ( I go round there alot when my fiancé is working nights as I get bored home alone and they never eat healthy!)

Good idea, I should have a normal lunch and take my shake and snacks for dinner really it's just so easy for me to give in to temptation. They are the type to always have biscuits with their cuppa, have loads of takeaways and always have pudding! All the things I was bought up with and struggle to not want even when not hungry!

Lyn i always carry a pot shot around in my car so if i get caught short at someones house i can have something, so maybe a similar plan can work for you? Maybe have some fruit in your handbag? I have been known to have a little pot of grapes or pineapple chunks in my handbag to nibble on.... or sliced apple? If they are getting takeaway maybe you could pick carefully... ie boiled rice and not creamy dishes.... i like having the occassional indian and find that boiled rice with a rogan dish is fairly low in syns... i stay away from the naans now but treat myself to chapati. I know your not following the sw plan but i would guess that a low syn option would be a good option whatever other diet plan your following?
