    my wii fit is always a pound or so out as well though is yours accurate?

    another things i find is i have a problem going to the toilet and this isnt helping my weight loss either.

    My Wii fit is normally a bit lower than my scales but then i have no idea which ones are accurate but wii fit tends to give me the same weight if i weigh myself a few times

    i've been keeping tabs on what i've been eating with the myfitnesspal app for android, i found it was a pain in the butt at first in putting in the meals and i nearly gave up using it, but i stuck with it because you can save your meals so onces they are in its saved for next time. i go to the gym 3 times a week just for half an hour becoz im so big my body has to work harder, 10 mins on strider, 10 mins on the bike, 10 mins on the rowing machine, this will have to go up soon becoz its getting to easy to do, and thats it really i have 1200 cals aday which is what fitnesspal says i need daily for my age and height, i've also started taking a multi vitamin every day. the fitnesspal app is only a tool to keep tabs on what i'm eating like keeping a diary really coz without it i would over eat i'm not striked with it, and i do have times off but if i keep going the next day i can still lose weight that week x

    Wow well done. I have that my fitness pal app, i got confused by it though. Maybe i need to persevere! I put on 3.5lb this week! Thats what a week in london with the cadets does to you :( o well back on it!

    saturday i'm going to a birthday meal at a all you can eat chinese buffet, i am worried i wont be able to stay in control i need a plan of action and ideas? like what chinese food is the healthest? i'm in two minds weather i deserve this treat, but buying and wearing a size smaller dress on the night sounds like a better treat to have lol x

    yeah definitely prefer the treat of being a dress size smaller,
    errm on SW you can have boiled rice (no syns) and sweet and sour chicken (8 syns) and thats not too bad. Chow mein is just noodles with veg in it thats not too bad.

    i cant think of anything else how about yuk sung? how bad is that? its got no sauce has it its mainly minced pork/beef (depending on restaurant) in a lettuce leaf.

    It is disheartening putting weight on, especially when its a biggy like mine this week. Its no one elses fault except my own so I cant point the finger and blame. just have to behave this week and see if I can get a good loss.

    I've avoided this thread for a while as i've been so unmotivated lately! But as of yesterday I am back on it 100%! I want to lose 6lb in three weeks in time for my appointment with my alterations lady. Swimming yesterday, zumba tonight and am properly monitoring points again for ww.

    Well done on all your weight losses girls...I'm in a pickle as really motivated lately and heading swiftly to my target - then told yesterday that I'm not allowed to lose anymore weight !! WTF???? All because of my dress fitting and the stupid woman ordering a mahoosive dress. Long story sorry (on the July 2012 thread if you want to read more).


    But basically, my dress is going to need loads taken in - I'm going to lose about 3inches either side of the bust and down to 1 inch at the hips. and I won't have any more alterations (although I paid £185 for the "alterations package"??)

    I don't particularly think 10lb in 8 days in unhealthy as it was my 1st week dieting so its usual that you lose a fair bit in the 1st week. Plus I do have a lot to lose. I 've ate sensibly and 1400 cals a day, low carb and drank between 2/3 litres of water a day. I've done lots of walking and had my house upside down doing a widespread clear out. Nothing dramatic or unhealthy though. xx

    Stevie it depends on the weight you are, if your a larger lady you will loose large amounts of weight quicker until you get down to a certain weight which then you will struggle.

    if you are not a larger lady it could just be the amount of calories with the exercise thats given you this fantastic loss :)

    o dear my plan of action failed before i'd even started, i had a total day off yesterday and eaten what i wanted even tho i treated myself with a new dress, but i guess everyone needs to have a day off now and again, i just need to get my arse back in gear, on a plus note everyone was complimenting me on how good i looked and how much weight i had lost which was awsome, i'm going to keep this in mind today while i'm trying to get back on the wagon, i hope everyones having a great weekend ; ) xxx

    Hey ladies,

    Soooo... I fell off the wagon due to high work demands, mainly not having time to make anything decent & only being able to pick as it is high wedding season as you all of course know lol & the shop has been manic too but not complaining although my waistline is so back on it tomorrow as I only have 7 months to shift some serious weight! Wish me luck because I have been trying for 6months so I need it!!

    As you may have read by my other post on here, im a torchbearer on saturday coming and my uniform is too tight :(
    i dieted all last week and exercised - yet I put on 1lb and feel so bloated :(
    so unfortunately the only thing I can do now for the next 5 days is crash diet! Then after saturday im going to go on a proper diet (not a fad one) but i just need to feel less heavy for this saturday! Its actually giving me panic attacks im so worried about it all :(
    I bought one of those pully in knickers as well which goes up to below me bust and it does work, but im worried itll fall down wen im running and everyone will see :(
    eugh why do women have these worries! x

    Fingers crossed you fit into your outfit nicola - what a nightmare that it's causing you to have panic attacks!

    First day of my diet: I weighed myself this morning so I could log my starting weight as you do...

    I have lost 15lbs (1 stone & 1lb) somewhere in the last 3months :-) I can only put this down to stress because my eating has been picking & I have barely been to the gym so I have been pleasantly surprised. My target weight loss is now 2 stone!!

    Hows everybody's else's diets going & anybody close to hitting their targets yet? x

    Anastasia i set myself a 2 stone target and i am yet to reach 1 stone! i set my target last year, i lost half a stone and ive put almost half of that back on. i cant seem to loose any weight at all i am determined though because i hate being the weight i am!
    i think i may move in with you for three months as i might have a better chance of loosing weight haha!!

    i fell off the wagon a bit last week so i'm dreading the weight in at slimming world tonight :-S

    it was OH's birthday so it just all went to pot on one night and then the next night we had a takeaway, i did pick a curry that was only 6.5 syns but i still feel like i've let myself down, my OH is away all week as well which means i have to cook for myself (EEEEEEK!) so i'm trying to eat syn free as much as i can so that i don't ruin all my work so far

    Sorry to hear that Mrsowen, sometimes you need to be on it mentally to succeed I find & I myself tend to wander or get bored after 3weeks of dieting! I must admit I can stick to a diet once I am on it & get the weight off... I just struggle with maintaining as I see it as a free meal ticket to eat all the rubbish I like when I hit my goal weight & fall back into the trap!

    You will probables find once you are on your gluten free friendly diet a big difference because once your diet is right for your body things change for the better :-)

    I am not sure how it's happened as some weeks I live on cupcakes haha! xx

    mrs mann im on slimming world finding it extremely difficult to focus on!! because its not "strict" as such is it. its like you can eat loads of pasta etc and thats full of carbs :S its confusing!

    im hoping thats the affect anastasia because if its not the fact im eating the wrong stuff i dont know what it is!

    ive never heard of the pyramid diet.

    the dukan diet has just told me i will be at my target weight of 9st 7 if i follow his diet by september this year! that seems very quick to me!
    you do different stages, for 10 days you have a pure protein diet you cant eat any vegetables or anything jut fish meat eggs etc and this makes you loose 2lb a week then it goes on to a different stage which helps you lose 1.6lb a week then you go in to your target weight which is considered as the cruise stage and then after that you are said to have your true weight at 9st 7. the cruise teaches you how to maintain the weight loss.

    I do not like the sound of that hun, I have studied nutrition & just surviving on protein alone for 10 days is dangerous! You need carbs... they are brain food. Just the right ones :-)

    The pyramid diet is new but I have done a similar one in the past of carb cycling & keeping your body guessing & I went from a 14 to an 8 in months due to being a gym freak also.

    It consists of high carb day, low carb day & no carb day (you have some but a small amount) - keeping your body guessing. It's on amazon x

    i didnt think loosing 2 stone in 3 months was healthy anyway never mind eating only protein for 10 days, i dont think i would be able to do it to be honest.

    that sounds like a very simple diet to follow :D i might have a nosey im doing slimming world at the min but just cant seem to find my feet and yet ive been on it months!
    ive lost half a stone on it and at my best i was 4 pound of my stone and then i dont know what happened but i just put 3lb back on again and cant seem to shift it. :(

    It's really good because your not counting calories, you are counting how many g's of carbs you consume & it has a whole section on eating out & pyramid approved foods. Cleaner eating really!

    I have never tried ww or sw to be honest. I hope you start to see results soon hun x

    i get slimming world i just think its really uninspiring sometimes, the groups are great for support but i think that just sometimes i'm a bit bored of salad and jacket potatoes but this is only the beginning of my third week so i should get back on track shortly with it and i think that if me and my mum make things and swap them we'll go even further with it. I just hope my hen night don't screw it all up(Probably will with the amount of booze my hens are planning on buying)

    mrs mann my groups are awful thats probably why i dont stay to them and thus not loosing weight, in my first few weeks i lost quiet alot but then i got bored haha!

    are you following extra easy or green and red?

    im determined to get back on track because i want to feel better i think i will see how i feel once ive lost a stone and half because my dress fits me perfectly now and i dont want to loose loads and then my dress need alot of work.

    its mainly my arms and my stomach im bothered about i will be slimmer haha!

    Im doing a miracle diet for 5 days (mainly so i fit into my outfit for sat) I heard it was a good thing to do something completely different in the first couple days of ur diet cause it gives ur body that shock feeling and kicks start the weight loss! Here's hoping anyways! x

    I use flabulous machine as well (the vibrating one) and it really works! x

    I have less than three weeks to my fitting now :s
    I would like to lose about another 2kgs but only need another 1kg to reach my target, although I'm struggling to lose that last bit
    I bought a pair of size 12 jeans at the weekend for the first time :)

    Quite a long time - I lost about 10kg between July and october then had a lull but maintained my weight and lost the rest in the last two months or so
    Going to try lose a bit more after the fitting just so i dont have to worry about putting on a pound or 2
