right I am going to sound like a right self centered and vain person but I am getting really upset now trying to buy shorts for the holiday. Most of the weight loss is off the waist so size 0 waist and size 10 hips/thights (poss bigger) so I am disproportionate. That in itself is bad enough buying clothes but EVERY single pair of shorts I have tried to find for the honeymoon are either baggy at the back because I havent got enough of a wasit or worse.... they keep making winks (creases) on either side of the zip at the front that looks really awful. I am running out of time for the honeymoon and getting very upset that my legs are so chunky compared to the rest of me that they keep doing this when I try on shorts etc

Why dont you buy the size 10's and take them to a seamstress? Surely they could alter a few pairs of shorts in that time... Ask Anne she could confirm x

i was trying on 8's and 10s and no difference. Size 12 were massive. I have found some today tho woooo.... I have managed to get in to two pairs of shorts and a skirt in an 8. I also brought another skirt in a 12 thinking I could take it in as they didn't have a 10 but my bum wont get in it haha! I hate sizing, obviously its not universal.

Herbalife is basically the same concept as slimfast but I have found it much better. I was always hungry on slimfast and gave up within a few weeks. Herbalife is more filling, and has everything you need in it so you can do a detox on it which only takes 3 days maximum, so if you ever have time off the diet the detox fixes it very quickly to get you back on track and motivated. They also do fat burning tea and some other supplements which speed up metabolism etc. I have been doing it really slowly as i take almost every weekend off, and a few other treats here and there. Its 2 shakes or meal bars, 2 healthy snack and 1 healthy meal per day.

detox Laura. Herbalife detox only takes 3 days. I lost 7lb on it but I had a lot to lose. Average loss is about 4-7lb.

lol I thought that when I heard other people done it, then an instructor (who's great) guilt tripped me into staying for another a few weeks ago. The other doubles I've done havent seemed as difficult, and I'm no gym freak lol last night was a killer! It was all focused on the lower body though whereas the others are all over. Hows everyone getting on today? x

    Hello all.
I need a kick up the bum. Been doing SW since feb and not even lost a stone yet. I can lose the weight. My prob is I have a few good weeks, then i have an event, like a birthday or uni stress and I go off track. End of June, everything was done with and I got back on track and lost 8lb in 3 weeks. Was so chuffed. Was only 1lb off my stone. Then I had a course in Machester to go to which meant I had to miss a week. Started off well, but then went off track and lets just say the damage is 3 and a half gain :( Now sat eating Hersheys cookies and cream. Opps Not been able to stay at the meetings recently as I've had to shoot off to work, which is prob part of my prob. Not egtting told off for it in class.
I only have 5 weeks till I go to Japan. So I am going to start posting my weight here. A bit of extra honesty, especially if I can't stay to class.
So damage today is 13 stone 9 1/2lbs.
I don't intend to miss anymore classes between now and then so lets say my taget is 10lb in those 5 weeks. There its on writing for you all to see.
Better get to work now :( Will check in later

Well. Work was really busy. I average about 7-8000 steps at work. But I'm making cakes this weekend for my friends 30th. need to resist licking the spoons and the bowl and the spare bits when I've cut it. The there's the party.
I am going to go swimming on Mon. Not sure if I am working tue and wed yet (I do agency work) so may go swimming then as well if I'm not.

Well, I have returned to UKB after getting a bit stressed the last few weeks and realising how much I have to do still for the wedding and how much the cost is stacking up to (!) but I finally got my bum in gear and starting making things, organising etc and finally bit the bulle and joined SW on Tuesday. Felt sick at the scales weighing in at 13st 11lb, the most I have ever weighed!! Really hit home how unhappy I am :( Feeling very positive after meeting a girl who has been there since November and lost 3 1/2 stone! She is going to be my personal mentor I think up until the wedding, so keeping my fingers crossed for my 1st weigh in next week :)

Hello ladies. My partner and I just started dieting on Friday there and I'm feeling very positive! We're both yo-yo-ers and have lost the weight without too much hardship before - the difficulty is maintaining it!! This time around we hope to make some lasting changes, as well as the more difficult but temporary approaches.

We've been talking about doing it since we handed in our dissertations mid April but hoped that I would be able to find a job first so we would afford all the fresh food and exercise classes we want. Unfortunately I'm not having any luck on the job front, and with all this free time on my hands (after scanning the web and applying of course) I figured it would be silly not to try!

Very strapped for cash at the moment but managed swimming twice this week, with long walks, yoga dvd and onlince recommended exercises padding out the other days. Food wise I have and will be kick-starting my day with a low calorie yoghurt (as it takes me a good while to get an appetite), then an hour or two later 2 weetabix or 30g of low cal cereal with semi-skimmed milk for breakfast, homemade soup (never creamy) or a tin of lightchoices for those lazier-days for lunch, and then a normal dinner (though I'm going to be reducing the portion size) but using healthier cooking methods and avoiding those things that will never be healthy like pastry, decent creamy mash, skin on chicken, fat on meat etc.

We will also be keeping a store of healthy snacks for when we get a bit peckish and can't resist - fresh fruit, tomatoes and peppers, sultanas, ryvita crispbreads, boiled eggs and yoghurts!

Our cereal and soup diet was inspired by Special K and worked really well last time! Previously for an extra boost we tried doing cereal for breakfast and lunch, then soup for dinner, until we were sick of it lol

    Starting weight: 12st13
    Watch this space!

Hi again guys, I was doing great with my little half a pound losses, then i had two weeks maintaining, then i put a pound on then last night i lost 2lb! The boost it gave me was fantastic. Ive done more body magic this week (rowing and swimming) and ive drank more green tea and fluids in general. Yay! Ive got about 60lb to go till Im at my target, which seems a million miles away, but I'll get there by my wedding Im sure xx

I have my healthy meals, my snack and fruit in between but if the wee man has crisps, I will sneak a couple or reach for a square of choc, etc. I'm always hungry! Any tips?

Drink water, lots and lots of water. Sometimes we confuse hunger for thirst. It works for me even though a lot of the time I don't like to believe it cause I want to eat lol. But it does help you feel full and think twice about eating!
