my sister got married in '11 & I knew I had to lose weight as her bm (other bm's were size 12&10) I left it too late & never dieted & when I seen pics of me in her album & on dvd I actually cried :( must get a lend of dvd to kick start motivation!! haha

i think motivation wil kick in from weds/thurs as know ive got dress fitting in which will be THIS year by then!! and i will be so close to goal i wna get there asap...had xmas as an excuse last couple of months!!

It's not so bad if you've not much to lose, i haven't set a target i just keep saying i'll know when i get there (if i get there haha) I don't want to be a stick but i def need to lose something,i stopped smoking 2 years ago & have put on about 1-2stone since then so there's def room for improvement. when you get your fitting that will prob give you the boost you need to get to your goal. its all so exciting :)

haha nooo i want the goal before the fitting... my dress is a size smaller than i was when ordered it!!! cuz had over a stone to go... not bridal diet... but yeh! so i was 6.5lb off goal... now im about 9ish i wish.. probs more like 11lb haha. but yeh. ill get my motivation in new yr...once had first real weigh in after xmas back at WW and take it from there xx

Think the first weigh in of the year will wake me up. I'm pretty relaxed at the min cause keep thinking its so far away, (27 months) I want to go dress shopping tomorrow!! but scared I'll buy a dress & next year see one I prefer lol how far in advance did you dress shop? This also makes me think i've lots of time to diet

i started lookin july/aug... and had to order by sept...as getting married in may, take into account xmas/new yr closures and stuff was told i needed a good 8-9 months in advance... i put it off for so long cause i had major issues with dress shopping...wasnt excited or anything got really worked up over it! thats due to my weight issues/lack of confidence/mirror issues etc... but yeh absolutely loved it when i finally started!! you wouldnt of thought if youd walked in and seen me standing surrounded by 6 mirrors, strangers, my mom, the bridal shop ladies, that i had weight problems!! or that id be crying before walking in!!
yeh the weigh in will wake me up and get my behind into gear!! xx

I'm so excited about dress shopping but like any day shopping I normally ed up home in a bad mood cause I didn't find anything to fit me. I'm not massive but bigger than I want & seeing all wee sizes left on a rail of something you liked just gets me down, def can't wait to get back on the slimming wagon again lol

We're down to the last 2 boxes of choccies thank god, and a tub of sweets. I might get H2B to take the choccies to his work or I'll take them to mine for everyone to eat saves me eating them.

Were the same jenny. Really trying to get through all the chocs before new years but really not going to happen! Gonna go for the diet to begin when I go back to work. Its so much easier there as at home im really bad with eating regularly. X

I've done better than what I thought, I've still got about 2 stone to lose by September so hopefully I can get near to losing it by that time.
I've not really stopped exercising over the festive period which I'm quite glad of because I've lost lbs still woo hoo.
But yea pushing it harder for 2013, and plus H2B is joining in my diet and exercise routine now because he has got high cholestrol and really needs to do something about it, so we can support and lose together providing he keeps up with it.
