Ive used lipotrim and personally Id never use it again. I lost 2.5 stone in 9 weeks and lost it far too quickly, ended up with blackouts and very ill off it. Also ended up with a lactose intolerance after I went back onto normal food. Its aquick fix but when you loose the weight you look gaunt and ill. Needless to say I put all that weight back on and more once I went back onto normal food!

work collegue used it. Even the school kids became worried as weight loss was so drastic over such a short period of time. However, as soon as he stopped taking it, he put it all back on if not even quicker than he lost it and more lbs that he lost.

But I was so tired and needed to wash my hair and was starving and was cold and needed a wee and had loads of books to mark and had a huge assessment to do and... (ran out of excuses lol)

    well done jocelinetex, fab!

i'm a bit miffed, 3 weeks with no weight loss, and then alst week only lost 3 pounds!
But i now go to a zumba class as well as doing zumba on the wii at home.
Still following sw diet, though i dont go to the clubs, as i really cant afford to.
Have to say i LOVE the sw frittata's, theyre so easy and tasty mmm.

my diabeties is still not under control, and i am up to 30 units of insulin a day, my bm's are still in double figures. dont know when the nurse if going to get her arse into gear and put me on it twice a day or change it, hard to loose weight when levels are like this :(

I'd definitely recommend increasing the exercise, as when I found the weight loss was slow I measured myself instead, and now I've lost 3 lbs overall, I've lost 2.5 inches off my waist and also off my hips - so I know when my dress arrives in a few weeks it should fit - wahoo! And in the last few weeks it's been 1 lb a week consistently off, so it's true what they say, your body does catch up with the weight loss after exercise, mine took 3 months!

Aahh am so frustrated. Been eating really well and exersise 4x a week since December so the weight should really be falling off. Not a pound until last week when I lost 2! Couldn't believe it! It's all gone back on though and I don't know what to do!

I dont have that much to lose and am feeling really disheartened. I have a vision of what I should look like on W-day but I'm not going to get there at this rate! What makes it worse is that all I can think of is bloomin carbs!!!

    Sorry... rant over! x

i stayed the same at weigh in this week, bit disappointed but cant blame anyone but myself because i did have a bad week want to loose 2 this week though.

    NEW FRUIT!!!
Just wanted to share with all you lovely ladies.....
One of my colleagues today picked up a fruit that i had never heard of in a store. She bought it to the office and we all tried it and its very lovely. A little bit like grapefruit.
It is called a pomelo. Sorry if you have heard of these, i never have done before! Well anyway we were a bit bored in the office and decided to google search this fruit, and turns out there are loads of health benefits.... including weightloss and it contains fat burning enzymes (again kinda like grapefruit). But its quite a bit sweeter than a grapefruit.
I just wanted to share this with you as i will now be buying pomelo fruit to add to my fruit salads :D

Quick question can anyone tell me how many syns horlics is when its made from semi skimmed milk (from healthy B). My book only tell me it is 10syns when made with semi skimmed milk!! If I used milk from the healthy b section is horlics likely to be less syns

Normally if you have tea with semi milk you add 0.5 syns for your milk, so depends on how much you have in your cup? 100ml is 2.5 syns.

According to the book then 4 tsp of the normal is 5 syns without milk, and 6 tsp of the light version is 5.5 - it's in your booklet under "drinks-hot" and take away the milk value which is found in "dairy"

Well done Elliekitty, and everyone else! I really need to knuckle down to this now, getting so irate at myself for just picking away at food, aaaaaaah! Doesn't help that h2b refuses to let trying to lose weight get in the way of him eating what he likes, portion sizes are a bit better, but some of the stuff he makes is still ridiculously calorific! Had a really good week last week, so even more annoyed with myself for not being more disciplined!

morning all, just wanted to say a huge well done to you all on your fab weight losses. i have been watching what i eat since just before xmas but started weight watchers nearly 5 weeks ago. so far i have lost 10.5lbs with weight watchers, recieved my shiney 7 and dropped 5% of my start weight. i have just over 9 weeks left till the wedding and i am hoping to lose a further stone which i dont see as being too unrealistic. if i reach that goal i will be 10.5st when i get married which will give me so much more confidence as i have been on the verge of 13st for the last 5 years. if i lose anymore it will be an added bonus.
from what i gather by reading the last few posts it seems a lot of you are doing slimming world, is there anyone else following weight watchers?

Either way, going tonight is damage limitation i think, and i can enjoy my romantic meal of slimming world steak with sauce, chips and peas afterwards :D

Ha_x3 we all have moments where we struggle i think.
A few tips that i have been given:
Just before xmas in group we were given a small straw and a small piece of paper, on the piece of paper we were asked to write down what it was that gave us that push to join sw, no one else needed to see it, it was for us to have. Then we had to roll up the piece of paper and put it inside that straw, this was our final straw. We were told to keep it in our purses over the xmas period so that we would see it when eating out etc....
I still have my final straw, just seeing it in my purse really gives me the push to resist the chocolate bars at the checkout in shops.

You could also list the reasons why you want to loose weight and what you would gain from loosing weight... or a list of pros and cons, that might help you find motivation.
I have a photo of me from my pre children days stuck to my fridge... midriff exposed etc standing in the sea. I know i will never ever be that shape again and i wouldnt want to be, i am proud of my mummy bits... but i want that confidence back you know? That photo represents my confidence.

However you manage it, i hope you get over that motivation wall and keep going, whatever you do dont let it beat you and sit slumped against it ;)

I've had yet another awful non-stop eating week and dreading getting weighed tonight.

Ah well, needed to have a blow out and get it out of my system. Lent next week and I'm giving up chocolate, sweets, biscuits, crisps and all things bad for you (although I rarely eat sweets and biscuits anyway but if they're there and I can eat them, I will eat them!)

Ooh the other thing is, I got a code for a free trial from a certain home delivery snacky food company (what cows like to do in the grass). I have a code to pass on to as many people as I can to get a free box. I ordered loads of nuts and berries to snack on (I know nuts can be high, but the dried fruit are great) and one of the boxes I received today was only 3 propoints.

I'll put the link and code on my wall if anyone wants to have a free delivery (you do have to sign up to it, but it's really easy and hassle free to cancel once you've had your free box delivered) - I ordered mine on Saturday and it arrived this morning. Yummy too!

sijen how did your weigh in go? a few nuts (not the salted type) are actually good for you there are lots of benifits from eating them like lowering colcholesterol levels, help reduce heart disease risk and can even lowers risk of weight gain. its just your potion size you need to watch out for.

Weigh in last night, i lost 3lb!
I have been averaging 1 or 2 lb losses over the past few months and really blew out on saturday so it was completely unexpected. Though when reviewing what i have done differently, i have been eating lots of pomelo all week! I knew that it had weight loss benefits ect... and just looked up in my book and it is a super speedy food..... so am gonna carry on with that and go get some more! lol
