My other half does slimming world with me and he is on nights. Its abit odd, but he wakes and up and dinner with me, takes lunch with him and then only has fruit when he comes home, then goes to bed. He was loosing weight this weigh, but skipping a meal properbly is'nt a good idea.

I know someone who is working nights at our group, she says that she takes her normal meals with her, what she would eat when she was awake. Think she does 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, days and nights though so its easier for her to get into a routine

I tried taking my usual dinner with me but I ended up with horrible tummy ache. I might just take fruit and a yogurt , just something light to keep me going... its only 3 night then thats it.

I work nights but its a sleep in shift so i am here 24 hours. I take my normal meals with me, dinner, breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Its where i find bulk cooking really helpful as i always have a selection of tasty syn free dinner options in my freezer.

I have weigh in tonight, looking forward to it, not sure how well i have done but feeling quite confident that its a loss. Wondering if i would have lost 2lb this week to get my 2 stone award.... just gotta wait and see at 7:30!! I am happy that today i have had to make yet another hole in my belt so what ever is happening with my weight i am clearly loosing about an inch off my waist every week or so atm. 5inches in total since i actually had to buy a belt so had obviously lost several inches before it got to that stage :D

Thanks ladies. I have a confession to make. I've not done any extra exercise at all this week.... & still lost the weight. How is that possible?? Must promise myself to exercise at least 3 times next week. Don't want to lose weight & not be toned.

Yeyyyy to all these fab weight losses ladies -

I am on a high as lost another 2lbs ! Woohoo - now back to 11st 12lbs. Another 9lbs to go and I'm gonna see how I feel and stick as that for my target - I actually weigh quite heavy considering how I look. I'm in size 12 clothes (for the first time ever) and haven't weighed this little since I was 21, so if I went to far into my 'ideal' weight (9st 4lbs - 11st 6lbs) I would look ill. so going to get to 11st 3lbs and see how I feel.

Mini targets along the way first though since I've been back properly ...

    Target 1: 12st 7lbs
    Target 2: 12st 3lbs (my 2 stone)
    Target 3: 11st 12lbs (my NEW 5%)
Target 4: 11st 6lbs (top end of BMI weight)
    Target 5: 11st 3lbs - then set goal weight!
Target 6: Stay at goal and keep it off!!!

Forgot to add - I have been at WW for years and lost 2st, keeping most of it off - always hover around the 12st 3-7lbs mark. Just messed around since last year and went back in November to get myself focused!

I tried to lose weight with support through my Dr & his nurses, (healthy eating, calorie counting & being more active) for over 6 months & never lost an ounce. First week at SW I've lost 4.5lbs. Can I add that I've have quite a lot of medical issues & take mega amounts of medications that make losing weight difficult so I'm really impressed & off to a flying start :)

loss in the first week of any plan is usually greater, it kind of slows down after that magic 1st week.
I have known people at sw to loose nearly stones in their first week in some cases!

Ive known people to get their 1 stone award at first weigh in, these people usually have a fair bit of weight to loose, and have had extrememly bad eating habits before hand, so a massive weight loss is expected. It normally levels out after that and they start to find themselves having an average weight loss of 2-3lb per week.

1lb off this week, am officially now the lightest I've ever been since starting SW last year - overall net loss is only 2.5 lbs, but since starting I've been doing boot camp etc and got gold body magic, and my measurements have really come on - in 3 months since 29/10, my meaurements are bust (-4cm), waist (-4 cm), hips (-6cm), upper thigh (-1cm) and upper arm (-1cm).
