I couldn't do a couple of the moves, partly because of the flooring in our living room and the rug.... and partly because i just couldnt get to grips with it, but i am proud of the fact i didnt sit it out, if i couldnt do it i reverted to a similar exercise from level 1 to compensate...but oh dear lord... i do not like the idea of 9 more days of this!!
I see why people cant wait to get to level 3!! 2 is nasty!

how are you doing there Tattty, you all recovered or did you end up at doctors?? xx

Thought I would pop on and say hello. I am another bride hoping to lose weight not just for the wedding but for myself, Me and H2B got our own place about a year and half ago now and in that time I have put on 2and half stone (could be 3 now tbh). So as from Monday (new week, new start) I will be trying to watch what I eat, the thing is I don't eat 3 meals a day I will have one big one and then toast or somthing on a night, so my body is getting hold of all the fat it can as I will not eat till about 1-2 in the afternoon...

Anyhow I was just looking for the 30DS DVD and found each section on TubeYou :-) so think the exercise can start tomorrow and my 3 smal healthy meals a day can start Monday when I do the weekly shop. X

Wow Tattty talk about pulling a muscle....did enough for a whole load of us there!! hope your on the mend now!

Hi Leah, many of us including myself aren't just doing this for the wedding!! I have been trying to lose weight for nearly 2 year now, am just using the wedding as the excuse aka the dress being a size smaller therefore i need to definitely be a size smaller etc, but even my dress isnt the most influential motivation at times!! We will all get there!
Was going to say make sure no matter what you always have breakfast! i didn't before i started WW and now even if don't fancy it i make sure i have a small bowl of cereal, even if it is small, it is still breakfast!! and yes 3 meals a day, or 5 smaller ones spread throughout! thats the most important!! if you aint got the food right you cant lose weight on exercise alone! you can on food alone, i did 58lb of my 68lb loss without exercise so whoever says you cant, is lying!! Exercise just helps!! I'm now incorporating 30DS into it to try and help tone, mainly the top half and arms for when i do wear the dress, as im not usually seen strapless!!

Well done soldier wife to be!! sounds like your really on the ball there with a PT and everything!! I couldn't last more than 1 session with all that! but then again im no gym bunny!

Keep up the good work ladies!!! xx

Well just done my 1st 30DS wow I'm hoping it will get easier with my fitness getting better fingers crossed...

Lula88 it is a brill push the thought of people having all eyes on you and the photos will be something that your family will drag out when your older lol, when I was working out today I was singing 'hear comes the bride 60inches wide' and it made me work harder lol. Thanks for the tips H2B said to have a fruit bag for breakfast then eat properly for the rest of the day. Thinking if I use Fitfriend app then it will help me see what to eat when then I can make the changes needed . I like strapless to but I don't like the fold over I get ner my under arm it's like another boob :-/....

Well done to all the B2Bs we will all get there !! Xx

Well done everyone, slow and steady winning the races!

I played netball last night for the first time in ages! Poor kids were too scared to mark me (Im 24 and theyre 13/14 so I'll give them that) but they soon started running rings around me. Was made up to see the improvement in them in just 2 hours. Wonder how many calories I burned last night then - 2 hours of running after kids!

Does anyone know of any good websites that provide decent fitness plans? I'm on MyFitnessPal (corinnedwyer - if anyone wants an extra friend :)) which is good for watching what I'm eating but I'm wanting to tone and strengthen my arms, legs and tum and bum and this is where I don't know where to start!!

Aw well done kimi!! your body will soon get used to the WW ways and the time of month bla bla and it will all all soon drop off you!! espec with exercise!

Leah - it is does get easier, well until you move onto the next level then start all over again haha. I been out all day so not had a chance to do my 30DS yet, will do it after ive checked up on the latest on here!

Natalie, that sounds fab, least you had a good time!! well if walking around a shopping centre for 4 hrs at a 'slow pace' burns 666calories, im sure 2 hours of netball will burn a hell of a lot more!!

Corwinee - MFP is the place to be, we all support each other haha. and as Natalie has suggested we're all taking a shot at this 30 day shred dvd, so maybe give that a go?

Well done one and all, keep up the hard work! xx

Amy main thing is don't focus on the past few weeks, start afresh tomorrow. new day, new start. keep track and if you want to do the exercise...but make sure you dont turn it into something you feel you have to do for sake of it, do it at your own pace so you bring it in as a daily routine and enjoy it and you'll soon get into a good cycle and the weight will drop off!! - i bet you look stunning already anyways! xx

Well ladies, I am biting the cupcake - pun intended pahahahaha ;oP - and have found myself a weight-watchers group that meets at 9:45am on a Thursday. So am going to go along tomorrow and see how it goes.
I have about 2 stone I want to lose and am not getting far with the going it alone thing (keep forgetting to update MFP) and tbh as my appetite fluctuates so much I am running out of ways to keep going without support, if you know what I mean.

I did go to one slimming world meeting a week and a half ago as I thought it would be a better one for me (and easier to incorporate into the family meals etc) but when I was explaining some of my particular requirements (with details and alternate recommendations etc) the consultant turned around and said 'oh, well your going to find very difficult to lose weight aren't you?!'.. Errmm not overly supportive or helpful, so I basically turned around and said well I guess this isn't going to be for me then is it and left!
Especially considering that in my opinion my requirements aren't that bizarre really - I am on medication (warfarin for DVTs and a blood disorder) which means that I have to be careful of iron rich foods and particular vitamins, another one I take another (topiramate a high dose pain med & migraine control) means that I have to have an increased food intake as it is an appetite suppressant, I've had a full hysterectomy and gone through menopause so I need to have a slightly higher calcium intake to combat osteo. A few general 'i don't like or eat this/that' type things. I have spoken with my GP and he said that I would be perfectly fine doing the 'controlled healthy weight loss' systems like SW or WW and the like.
Tbh, I was actually fairly upset when I left as I know for a fact that in that particular group there is one woman there who has some serious health issues and takes some dooozies for meds and has restrictions on her diet that are a lot worse than mine (she was the one who encouraged me to give the group a try). I thought they were supposed to assist and not hinder, the consultant really put me off SW.

Anyway I spoke to the WW people on the phone today, asked them a few questions and explained and they told me a few things about it a little bit, they said that if their 'leaders' aren't sure of something then they will ask the member for more information and then check further into it themselves, they would never put a new member off like that as everyone can lose weight even it is very slowly done and also said that it would be fine to go along to one meeting so am gonna give it a go.

Sorry for the ramble lol.. Any advice for my first meeting tomorrow, am a little bit nervous.. eeeps

I did weight watchers last year and lost 3 and a half stone. Starting to put a bit on, put on nearly half a stone so thinking about going back very soon. They were lovely and I went to a few different meetings as I work shifts. Will take you a few weeks to get into it. But you can eat anything, which i loved as I could have chocolate as long as I pointed it. Good luck, everyone will be in the same boat x x

i love ww, still getting used to the points bit as it can be confusing, im just glad that after 3 years of gaining weight quickly with my medication (i hate steroids! lol) it is slowly but surely coming back off. since july/august ive gone from 13st 1lb to 13st 13lb. ive now lost 2-3lb in 2 weeks :D
went to the gym last night and earnt myself 6 points in about 45 mins. it killed me but it was worth it, im going again friday night so hopefully going 2/3 maybe even 4 times a week will hopefully shift this weight. ive told h2b i really want to be back to how i looked when i met him a comfortable size 10 :D

Soldier Wife to be - any more boxes of choccies? I resisted crisps today because I didn't have a workout booked for tonight, I did a High Intensity Training class on powerplate yesterday. have another class tomorrow night but going to work in an office where I have no access to shops to buy junk food so I'm safe tomorrow lol. That'll be 3 HIT classes this week (Monday, yesterday and tomorrow) plus have HIT Boxing on Saturday morning too. I'm sure I'm not losing anything though, just toning, I gotta lay off the naughty food but I love my food so much!

Got 5 months now to drop 7 lbs and lose an inch.

I am the same, working out gives me a buzz that I just love, it's so addictive.
TBH I'm not that big, I'm a size 8 - 10 but I'm also short/petite so anything larger than a size 10 and I look huge. My clothes are so tight at the moment as I put on weight since getting engaged in January.

I scoffed choccies today (only 5 small ones - dark chocolate - dairy free as I have a dairy allergy).

Made very healthy dinner (well kinda) - cottage pie but made with lean turkey breast mince rather than beef (I don't do red meat - BLEUGH). So the unhealthiest bit is the mashed potato on top (no milk but a good bit of vitalite in it). Lotsa veggies in it.
    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm xx

Floateelight - can't believe someone at the SW said that to you!! no wonder it put you off and upset you!! Tbh, my SIL2B does SW and as you know I do WW, I know its each to their own, but WW seems alot less complicated.

And I know my Leader & the helpers there are all very friendly and helpful (I am a helper too) and we do get asked alot of questions, especially when the leader is busy! We try and help as best as we can but as you have already been told if we cant then the leader will go away and find out or another member may be able to help. All the members share everything so will you probably find others on medications and things but doesn't stop you doing the programme or eating well!
Good luck, and hope your meeting this morning goes well.

    Natalie well done!

I stayed the same this week, which I had a feeling I might of done, as my leader said, its better than putting on! but hey ho, new week, new start, I want to lose the 2lb next week else I'll cry!!! 2lb and I get my next mini goal so that is my aim... STRICT week coming up!! haha. see how many hours that lasts this time!!

Well done 1day of 30DS on Tuesday and I still can't walk prop lol. My muscles feel like they have done a weight session at the gym pmsl. I was going to do it today but still feel torn :-/ think I'll have to fight through it. I was going to do 30 day ripped to tighten me up but if this is shred what's that going to be like lol. With me in a bit of pain still I'm trying to talk myself into doing it today but I'm arguing with myself haha.... To do or not to do?? X

Keep at it Leah its worth it in the end :)

I havent done it properly, im getting in about 3 sessions a week but suppose its better than nothing. H2b is going to sort out our couples swim membership so I'll probably do a mix of swimming and 30DS to loose the weight.

Thanks Lula, at least you maintained and didnt put on! xx
