im on weight watchers too. im a chocolate addict too! but wat i tend to do, is wait to have chocolate at the end of the day, or if i really need it, i'll have on piece of chocolate and thats often enough, just to have the taste in my mouth. i had to train myself not to want it, but so far ive lost 2 stone on weight watchers so thats my motivation! also, have one cheat day a week, that way you can treat yrself for a day and eat wat you want!! :) hope you do well! :) xx

yea, i understand that!!!! :) but i dunno, the thing i found with weight watchers is that you can eat what you want, just so long as u stay in your points allowance, and with all the exercise you do, you'd get more points!

Your daughter doesn't have to get into the habit of eating chocolate. After all do you really want her to develop your bad habits? Treats can be things like raisins, apples, jelly etc. At least then it will cut down her chances of being over weight later in life. If you can get them to eat well now they see it as normal.

Abi4tomboy - Try some of the WW chocolate bars. My favourite is the cookie bars which you can buy in meetings. I'd also suggest buying a WW recipe book called Hearty Home Cooking, it got lots of family favourites but they're much lower in pro points.
You don't mention how long you've been doing WW. A weight loss of more than 2lb isn't healthy in the long term. Slow and steady will get you there and it means you're more likely to keep it off in the long run.
You have a fantastic reason to loose weight. You can do it!
    xx

i started begining of the year and my daughter only has 1 fun size milky way a day and im happy for her to have that she eats everything else loves veg enjoys fruit so i dont mind her having a chocolatte bar and ill look into the book how much is it tho as know so are very pricey and dont really want to be spending to much with a wedding aswell :D

Hey hun, 1 chocolate bar every day is still a lot for a child though IMO, we reserve chocolate for a treat and the rest of the time the kids have fruit. The kids can happily go for weeks without chocolate if it's not around them, and they don't miss it - and they only ever ask for it when we're walking past the sweets aisle in a shop! x

I agree. Its just teaching them bad habits feeding them choc everyday. What might seam innocent now puts them in bad habits later in life. What is just one milkyway now could turn into a boost etc which then has so much sat fat in it its unreal! It then turns into more than one and gets out of hand. There is more to life than chocolate and why can't healthy food be a treat? Kids only expect what you give them. Its not child cruelty to give it them once a week/month etc. If you get them into the habit of eating normal health food while they are young then they have a better chance of being like that when they are older and won't think of eating choc/crisps/junk food as something they should do all the time.
