    Im on weight watchers diet, have lost ALOT of weigh already but would like t lose another 2 stone between now and October 2012. Only problem is now I have lost the weight and I cant seem to stick to it now. I guess I have a long time to lose it.

    Anyone else dieting for their big day

    Yeah I'm trying. I lost a stone then put it back on over xmas so I'm starting again from scratch.

    I lost 2 1/2 stone before xmas. I put 4lb on over xmas, but now I just cant get back into it. The dresses I like are strapless and I am very conscious about my arms... I think there chunky. I need to lose it from my arms..... and my belly

    You may not lose it from where you want to lose it from but you could do more toning exercises on your arms or wear a shrug or jacket?

    I am trying to lose weight but its just not working at the mo, i would like to go to the gym but i just dont have time, i am currently a trainee teacher so when im not working im at uni or sleeping - im grabbing food as i go and its crap really lol. Really need some tips, i want to lose a stone from now and ideally september as my dress is being altered then!

    I thought about wearing a shrug or something, I could get away with it as we are having a autumn wedding.

    I cant do any excersize yet because I have recently had abdo surgery and not aloud to do anything like that, back to the gym is a few weeks tho ..... I am a student nurse and like you, sam, I too grab food as when I can, however I amm grabbing all the wrong kinds of food. Keep saying to myself I will start again on monday lol..... been saying that since xmas

    Need to lose 1st but like you because I know its so far away (aug 2012) I cant be bothered at the mo and am struggling to get myself motivated.

    cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
    total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!

    You've gotta picture u in ur dress. Think how good u feel because of ur loss. I've lost 6 and half stone and have been maintaining for about 6 months. Need to take it up a notch and get the last bit off. The wedding is my motovation! x

    I have dropped to a size 12 so I am very happy. I just need to tone up now. I doubt my belly will ever go but I can try. Id like to lose it off my arm shoulder and tummy... those are the bits I hate the most.

    Ive lost 4 and a half stone since getting engaged last April but it seems to have stopped now and its really annoying. Finding it hard to get motivated and dont really know what I can do now to shift the last bit.... doing everything right with just the odd treat now and then. Guess I'm just not designed to go any lower! Still, I can get in my dress so I cant complain and gone from a size 20 to 12 so should be happy..... just frustrating to get so far and not be able to finish what I started! Its only another 7lbs to go but feels like a huge stumbling block.

    Octbride, dont fear, it will happen, you will make sure of it.

    Suzie and Jane you are an amazing inspiration for others. Thats great.

    What you have to remember is after a certain period of time your body doesnt or cant loose anymore, its stuck for a reason, always remember that if you stay the same weight, give or take 2/3lb for about 12 months, you'll find you will stay that weight for a considerable amount of time, unless you completely go off the rails :0/


    Supporting each other is also a must.

    Hi, I have lost 4.5 stone in one year, on weight watchers and had a break for a while put just 4lb and have since lost it again.

    (Size 20 to a size 14, and I am about half a stone away from a size 12)

    I have so many tips for losing weight, I enjoy what I eat, and never begrudge myself my food treats! If you do begrudge yourself you will just give up!

    I know many meal ideas that in my view are so enjoyable!

    Anyone what any help or tips or general advice add me as a friend/contact me on chat/ or send me an email. I will help in anyway I can

    Wow you ladies have done really well.

    I went on the old points system just before xmas and lost 2 and half stone. I let my self go over xmas and put on 4lb, I lost it all again but then I had abdo surgery and put on about 7-8lb which I am losing again. I am for ever having treats, I love my chocolate. I dont drink or eat crisp, chocolate is my vice

    I cant eat large portions, I eat little but often and I eat beacuse I am bored. My cooking skills are not that good, I try to cook but ..... it turns out wrong lol.

    I've just had the home made soup concoction to warm my cockles, lol!
    Got Belated V Day meal tonight. Curry... However i am having the dry tandoori mixed grill with salad :0)
    mmm, making my mouth water already, lol!
    Have you ever made home made chicken soup Kirsty? mmm......

    Lol no its a WW canned soup lol Im awful at cooking. Alot of the time I am reluctant to make home made soup .... no one else will eat it.

    Serious its scrummy, you should try, chop it, shove it in a pan, boil then simmer, then liquidise and pot it....
    or have it chunky.

    Chop up
    2 white or red onions
    3 or 4 peppers, I used red, orange and yellow (not so keen on green)
    1 cabbage (minus the middle hard bit)
    whole bunch of celery
    i also put in a chopped chilli and 2 cloves of garlic.

    Put them all in a pan with 1000 ml of stock. Use the chicken no salt knorr stock cube of something of similar.
    bring to the boil.
    Once gone soft shove in 2 tins of chopped toms and any seasoning you may want..
    I put in chilli powder, corriander, garam marsala, its to your own taste.
    Leave to simmer for about 15 mins.
    Taste to see if needs anymore seasoning or spicing up :0)
    You have the choice of having it chunky or blending it.
    I belnded mine to quite a thick consistency and its lush.

    It's yummy honest. Put what you want in it. I took note of everything and ran it through MFP to get the calorie, fat, carb and protein so know what each serving is. Can add meat or fish if want but that will bump up cals and protein. The contents of 4 bowls of soup equals I bowl of cereal!!!!

    yep and you can freeze it mate. for me it works and if it didnt I would say.
    I actually had a full on roast round the inlaws yesterday and I was still unuder calories.

    i will be trying this later ... getting a list together of all the ingedients and going to cook at at mums and then she can have some too. No one else in my house will eat it..... too sloppy for mark and kids are toooooo fussy
