Do you follow the plans and stay to group etc...? I have seen a few people struggle with sw but then they are supported to do SAS logs and spot the problems and go on to loose stones.
If you are doing zumba etc bare in mind that building lean muscle is heavier than fat tissue so while the lbs may not be shifting you could still be loosing inches. I hit a spot a few weeks ago, i had a 2.5lb gain and a maintain but still was shrinking around the waist. In the end we put it down to muscle tissue as due to loosing weight i had felt much more energised and been more active.... now i am loosing weight again.
I wonder how long you stick to plan without a loss before subconciously loosing motivation and letting sneaky little bits slip in? Sorry if i am totally wrong, just trying to get a sense of what is going on.

What kinds of food do you eat?
Just because slimming world and weight watchers in not necessarily healthy. For example you can eat muller yoghurts, diet coke and slices of ham, as many as you want because they are low in calorie. Your body may be struggling to break things down x

Thats exactly where i went wrong with SW snowflake, esp on the green days! Pasta sticks to me like glue. I took myself off that and just eating things now from scratch in their true form, like i mentioned in my previous posts...if the food has been modified in ANYWAY don't eat it. I am now losing weight and inches noticably, but steady, and my hair, nails and skin have also shown huge improvements! :) i feel less tired wthen when i was on SW plan and generally so much healthier. Try to drink the water aswell as this really does help with weight loss xxx as does green tea x
How about trying a new way of exercising? its true that your body gets used to 'doing things' so make it work a bit harder for you, take up speed walking to maintain the heartrate for longer? swimming is awesone (needs motivation tho) lol xxx

Track your losses, make a body chart and jot down the date and inches in certain areas of your body, it keeps you on tracj when u dont have a loss for the week, but find you lose an extra inch somewhere :) xxxx Keep on it hun - you will do it xxx

Not sure if this will help but I diet best when I apply the 80% rule. I only diet 80% of the time. This means I allow myself the odd treat etc and I don't feel guilty and I don't binge.

I make a diary where I have to fill in what i've eaten. I like counting points/cals, makes it a game! Lol!

I have a curly wurly every day! It's only 115 calories and on ww they're 3 points which is pretty good (allowed 29 points a day). That way I get my chocolate fix and don't feel the need to raid the shop at lunch.

I also swear by a good breakfast. Weetabix is really filling, slow energy releasing and low points on ww.

I did ww 80% between oct-dec and lost a stone. I also swam twice a week and did zumba twice a week. I stopped at xmas after my dress shopping but as of today i'm back on it to lose the half stone i've put back on and another stone in time for my fitting! Good luck! x

Hey ladies, I started slimming world on monday night and so far i am finding it realy easy. I cannot believe how much food you can eat!!! seriously i have eaten more food in the past couple of days than i usually do in a week! Its crazy! I am doing the extra easy plan, there are loads of 'free' foods like chicken, fish, pasta, potatoes and rice etc and you can eat as much of these whenever you want without measuring! Then you have your healthy 'a' choice which is either milk or cheese, and then your 'b' choice which is ceral or bread(other things in there just doing this off top of my head!) And then you have your 'syns; Which are very generous, you can have between 5 and 15 a day and can use them on anything from wine to chocolate or even chinese food and kebabs!! My favourite is a malteasers ice cream bar after tea which is only 5.5 syns!
Honestly girls this is the best 'diet' i have ever tried and i will really be shocked if i loose weight on it as i am stuffed all the time and eating like a horse! lol! Will keep you posted anyway, have my first weigh in on monday so will know if it is working for me :)

Good luck everyone with your weight losses, i will share any tips i get from SW if anyones interested.

I went to a personal trainer a couple of years ago for my sister's wedding. I was at the gym 4-5 times a week including an intensive hour with her once a week. I thought I was eating properly but wasn't shifting anything. I was in tears after weeks and weeks of trying. Then I showed her my food diary and things I thought were healthy she reckoned were my enemy. I thought nuts and fruits were great snacks but the amount of fat in nuts just counteracts everything. She told me to try 1500 calories a day so i signed up to my fitness pal online and tracked everything I ate and drank. Although a bit OCC it really made me see how much I was eating (particularly carbs - ie apples!) and not eating (proteins). So after tweaking what I was eating and being a bit too cautious and cutting out all saturated fats alltogether - I dropped weight so quickly and felt fabulous. I didn't want sweets or sugars - just really craved green food and lots of it! (trainer was also an advocate of Alkaline eating - a bit OTT for me but it did make me adjust how I ate meals). I reached my goal in time to be a bridesmaid in May10 but now I am getting married in a few months and can't get motivated to start it all up again. Argh. Let's hope this thread will motivate me more to shift off all that weight I put on since being so good in losing it. Good luck ladies!

Good luck mtwi! Just remember how good you felt when you lost the weight last time! I hope you can get motivated again! The thought of going to group and someone else weighing me is motivation for me and i am very competitive so aiming for slimmer of the week and stuff will help me. Plus i just keep looking at my wedding dress which is 3 sizes too small for me! so that keeps me motivated too! :)

Hope it comes back soon, good luck :)
