    morning scrumptious ladies,
roll up roll up for your weekly weigh in :0)
I'm down 1lb this week, would have been more but went out for din dins and ate bread this week and dont normally eat bread.
I can honestly say that drinking the tea helps. But went out last night and still feel bloated...
However COLONIC tomorrow at 11.30 ;0) I'll report back how I got on..

Good luck girls stay positive even if there isnta change. Lifes to short and we are what we are :0)

    Hi Jenna,
welcome to the slimming posse :0)
Dr Stuarts slim plus. Its £1.85 ish for 20 bags. Normal big supermarkets sell it. Its where they sell the normal tea bags, is a white box and the pic on the box is of a man with a cup cake as a body :0) Its a herbal appetite suppressant. Works wonders :0)

Hey guys can I join too? I don't have too much to lose but when I tried my dress on last september I was 8 stone 12 (I had been hammering the gym and on weight watchers) and now I'm about 9 and a half - still ok but I felt better when I was 9lb lighter and I looked nicer in my dress! I've been slacking off the gym but I'm going back after this weekend and I'm back on the healthy eating as of Monday - weekend is always a write off for me!!! Can I just ask how do you girls keep to it at the weekend if you're out socialing etc - that's my downfall x x

Its normally more in store than online, Morrisons do sell them I have seen them in there before.
if not I will send you some...
hey Leesy come to the house of pain, lol! Nah not really..
Weekends... Thats when i treat myself. I dont stop myself from having anything. If I have something a little on the naughty side then I make up for it (normally) with exercise or eat a little better.
Last night we went out for dinner and we had breads with dipping oils and then Steak and Veg. So I know this weekend if I want a curry I will but just be sensible with portion sizes.
Its all in our heads, we just have to want to do it dont we!
If I go out on a weekend I always drink a clear spirit if I can. But do drink the odd beer and the odd glass of wine :0)

I started a 3 day diet plan yesterday. All going well so far so I shall join you next week and tell you how much weight i've lost :) You don't get to eat much but if you stick to it and eat sensibly the other 4 days you can loose big amounts each week. Also if you do it on the week days u can still eat decent food when your socialising on weekends x

    I like that idea b2b :0)
I have done the milk diets, Lighter Life, Cambridge Diet, Dr Atkins... you name it... the best way is eating healthy and reducing portion sizes and dont eat a lot of red meat..
If I have a sugar craving I eat raisins or fruit... Certainly goes..
Theres me sipping my first cup of Dr Stuarts of the day.... (they help you go to the loo too!)

If you can't do the tea then Tesco Slimming Aid Tablets are pretty good too you take one after every meal although I do tend to forget. All I've done is cut out dessert after dinner (unless I REALLY want it!) & tried to be a bit more sensible about stuff but I'm still eating chocolate whenever I want it but sometimes I realise it's the taste rather than the whole bar (other times of course it's the whole packet) & I still HATE salad lol! Everything in moderation and eventually you lose the weight. I'm now 8st 7lb which is fab all my pre-baby clothes fit again but I wanna b 8st for the wedding (& no don't think I'm mad it's just that I'm short!!) so gonna keep going til I get there :)

I wont buy desserts now unless its for something special.. Always have low fat greek yog in the fridge, mix that with a bit of lemin curd and a crushed meringue! yummy yum yum yum!
Have a cube of choc a day, at a time when you know you will need it most :0)

I wish we could magic the weight off! I'm just tucking into my lunch - 5 satine crackers n cottage cheese (yuuuuck!) tea is 2 slices of cold meat, 4oz broccoli and 2 oz of carrots. the best thing is you get 1/2 banana and 4oz vanilla ice-cream after t. Sooo worth starving all day for that ;)

Not sure how much exactly as scales broke from my daughter throwing them so going by belt notches!! lol. Got docs tuesday for thyroid test cos apparently weight gain while trying to lose, shot memory and lots of tiredness are signs of underactive thyroid!! :( Bloody hope not!!! was picking my son up from school after i had been town, went to turn in my mums street, she said were going for Louis,oh yea.... then few mins later went to turn in my street... que mum, were going for Louis!!!! How daft am i and forgetful so much lately, but then could be late nights, up and down all night with baby, and early mornings!

Could be. Are you gaining weight and feeling permanently exhausted too (can fully understand exhaustion with baby though)?? What about hair loss?? Is there more in the plughole after a shower than usual?? Another thing to check for is the thinning of the outside of the eyebrows.
I spent all monday morning preparing to take my son nursery for the afternoon then 10 mins before leaving, I remembered he does not go on Mondays anymore and hasn't for more than a month!!! Saturday, I asked OH about 10 times what he wanted me to do for tea the next day (thinking the chicken may need defrosting) and he kept reminding me that we were going to his mums for tea!! Last Friday, I almost forgot my daughter had nursery in the afternoon and remembered about 2 hours before and today I forgot she had nursery again and only remembered half an hour before having to leave so had to nearly rush her lunch down her throat!!! Normally I would find this sort of thing funny but it's starting to freak me out now and I am getting paranoid that I am gonna accidently leave my kids somewhere or forget to lock the door when I go out!!! When it was little things, I put it down to the stress I have been through this past year with my Dads death but now it has all calmed down for now, my memory is a lot worse!!!! I have no idea what my memory will be like if it doesn't get sorted before it starts up again in September!!!

Well I'm bug****d tonight.... BBQ and loads of food that is far too yummy! Filling up on diet coke at the moment so I dont overeat! Sausages, burgers, prawns, salmon (for me!), bread and rolls, salad (for me!) loads of accompaniments - gherkins, pickles, sauces, coleslaws, rice things, garlic mushrooms, baked potatoes, Pringles (will have to hide them from myself!), pretzels and then black forest gateaux, pavlova, lemon tart, millionaire shortbread and chocolate brownies....... I dont have a hope in hell of being good tonight! 2 bottles of wine on chill, a crate of cider, another of Guiness and a bottle of Malibu as well. I do add though that we have 10 people coming so its not all just for me!!!!

No curry tonight then? LOL Need a drink tonight to steady my nerves, quite an exciting occasion really, H2Bs stepson is coming over and its our first 'family occasion' together, his mother forbid him from seeing H2B after their divorce and its only now that she has moved away and left him behind (he IS 19 however I hasten to add!) that he is able to come and see us. What is lovely is that H2Bs parents are also coming tonight and they havent seen each other properly socially for SO long, will be fab to get them all back together again like this! H2B raised him from the age of 5 and hasnt seen very much of him since his divorce 3 years ago, lots of catching up to do! And my son who is 15 has said he can stay over on his top bunk if he wants to have a drink or two! Woo hoo! Happy families!
