After the afternoon I've had these save the dates better be nice or I will prob loose it

Ive just got home and you lot are seriously going to wet your pants when I tell you what happened

I went to the inlaws to pick up the save the date cards. On the computer it honestly looked purple like a dusty dark plum colour but nope they are charcoal grey and ivory whoops!

Rich had a groomziller moment when I told him and he asked if we could change them I said no we'd have to buy a new lot, he wasn't a happy bunny.

Thankfully now he's seen them he loves them but it was so funny lol

They are gorgeous tbh - I love them its so so funny though - especially Rich's reaction - don't think I can cope with a Groomziller!

It's horrific

I keep joking we should get dominos for tea as it would be so funny seeing the deliver driver trying to walk up out drive - our little road is a wind trap lol

How long ago did you apply Claire? Good luck if you do get on and yeah thats a great idea about making up a file of stuff you like so to guide your h2b if you did get selected for the programme.

SPOONEY, it's not human foot and mouth, it's hand foot and mouth!! I had it as a kid, it's like a lot of ulcers in your mouth as well as lots of little blisters on your feet and hands. Keep dosed up on paracetomol and drink plenty of lukewarm drinks to keep your fluids up. Keep off hot drinks as it will just make things worse. Keep rinsing out your mouth with lukewarm salty water to help it clear up. Rest up as much as possible too. Not sure what other advice I can give as it was about 20 years ago that I had it so can't remember much more. lol. You could always call NHS Direct to see if they can help any more??? xxx

ATARAXIA, There have been a few times when H2B and I have had to celebrate Valentines/anniversaries/birthdays a few days or even a week late due to being broke so we just made it special and did not even mention what we were missing on the day it was supposed to be done or even exchanged anything until "our" day so get the dress (you will only regret it and not be 100% happy if you don't get it) and have your own Valentines day a day or two after you get paid. xxx
