    Hi there guys,
i'm starting this discussion to gather some information as to whether couples getting married on a tight budget manage to actually pay for their weddings within it. The particular area of the wedding is the reception and evenings on a D.I.Y basis.... Is there anything in particular that you find very expensive and would like to see cheaper. I am hoping to start a wedding supply business ans would really welcome your comments and suggestions.
Thanks and good luck on your weddings girls
    melissa xx

I think if u did some packages, they would be good, like sashes thrown in with chair backs (if u do them) I'd like to see petal cones a bit cheaper x

hiya hun, am on a tight budget myself, having to have wedding further away to give us enough time to save up, we will do it within the time, just trying to keep costs down xx I think post boxes, guest books and pens and table plans and that kind of thing are quite expensive for buying them. Deciding to make them myself because it's cheaper than paying for the item already done. Guest book for example, it's considerably cheaper to buy a blank one and decorate it yourself than to buy it already done and I don't understand what makes it all that much more expensive by just adding a sign on the front and some ribbon :-) xxxx hope this helps at all xxx

thanks for the feedback so far.... I'm writing it all down girls... i want future brides to be able to buy their Decs, accessories etc with peace of mind that it wont break their bank... everything is quite expensive for wedding as it is supposed to be your one and only special day. And the average wedding budget is around £30,000. so if theres anything else you can think of let me know xxx

Average wedding is no way £30,000. All of my friends hav done it under 8,000. My budget is £12,000 and I WON'T be going over coz I simply just can't afford to
