We are privileged to be your 'Experts' in the field of wedding decoration.

Please feel free to ask us any questions relating to balloon decoration. We promise to answer every question as quickly as possible

If you are considering having balloons at your wedding then you may want to know:

What sort of designs would be most suitable for a head table?
How long do helium balloons stay afloat?
How do you brighten up a dull looking function room?
How much should I spend on balloons?
I am thinking of having a themed wedding, how can I incorporate balloons into my theme?

These are just a few examples, so please fire away with your questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Steph,

    Thank you for your questions.

In answer to what happens to them at he end of the day. You have a choice with most hotels. You either take them home with you if you have room in your car(s) I'm sure some of your family and friends would help with this or if you dont want them most hotel staff burst them which seems a shame after all the hard work in creating the designs.

Disney theme balloons can be incorporated in balloon designs. If you choose some of the 18" foil round disney balloons for example you could include these with Pearlised latex balloons in a floor bouquet.5 latex balloonsand 3 foils make a very nice entrance bouquet. You could even have one at the top of a Pearl Garland arch. The choices are endless but any of the manufactured themed balloons can be used in many designs.

Re price of balloons. Well I guess an average price for decorating a wedding with basic balloon designs would be around £170 -£300.

    Hope this is useful.

    Good luck with your plans

    Steve

    Hi Steve,
We are going to do the balloons ourselves - so my questions are:
    1) how long do helium inflated balloons stay afloat? (i.e when should we be doing them - would the day before be ok?)
    2) How difficult are they to inflate using helium? (we haven't done this before - should we practice?)
    3) Do you recommend latex balloons?

    Thanks

My question is the same as Eriksfjord, I really need to know how long helium balloons stay up so we know when to inflate them. The reception isn't until 2ish, ending at midnight. Don't want droopy balloons! lol

Clintons fill them up but don't deliver.. so be prepared to transport them :)

How much would you say for a cluster of 3 ballons, ribbon & weight should generally cost Steve??

We have been quoted £34.00 for 6 sets of 3 clusters(with 2 diff colour ballons) and 1 cluster of 5 balloons that are a balloon within a balloon if you see what I mean for our sweetheart table.. All with ribbons, weights and him coming to our venue to do them for us :)
    Is that good??

I visited my venue the other day and it looked really dreary, I think some balloons would make all the difference. The venue said they would provide them free of charge but saw some double bubble ones on the bay of e and an exploding one for the first dance. Is anyone else getting them from the bay as these balloon companies are so expensive?

If anyone has a Card Factory near them, they're cheaper than Clinton's and will prepare them for you to pick up (just have to give them a couple of hours notice). We used them for our evening reception - and even though it was a Saturday, I just called in about 2 hours before, explained what we wanted and they were ready for collection. In fact the assistant even helped me to my car with them.

At the end of the night we let the children at the party, and guests with children not there, take them home.
