One idea is to get yourself an actual wedding planner binder. They sell them online. These have lists of things that you need to consider and some of them even split things up according to timeline...so things you need to organise in the last week, the last month, three months before, six months before, etc.

    Hi, Congratulations :D

I've got a few months to go yet and only booked ceremony & venue but i have seen some wedding checklists online that are quite good, they tell you what you need and when the right time to get them is. Hope you can can find a checklist too, and find it much easier planning your wedding x

Good post by Bridezilla. We made one for ourselves, and just got a couple of wedding magazines, who have those pullout countdown time lines inside them and then divided them up and wrote a page for each month and put it into a folder. I just tick things off as I do them. We also worked out what we were paying for, how much it would be, then divided that number by 2. Then divide that by how ever many months you've got to save and it tells you how much you need to put away each month without panicking that you'll be hit with a big bill at the end! Hope that helps hon.

Definitely think about your reception party if you're having one, look into hotels as they usually have a wedding co-ordinator who will be your planner thrown in for free - they can help you with food choices, DJ etc - get your skates on as you'll want to be sending out invites in the next 4-5 months so will need party details! And sometimes they have contacts who can help with photography, video if you want it, or maybe even car hire if you want transport to the church xx
