We got married yesterday and it was an beautiful day that I will cherish forever. Perfect weather, all our friends and family and everyone had a great time.
But my dress was wrong :( It was lace up and my mum didn't pull it tight enough despite me telling me, and it was slightly too big anyway so it's just all loose and out of shape and makes me look really fat :( people keep tagging me in pictures on facebook and it's breaking my heart. I have a photo in the dress shop with no make-up or hair done that's much nicer because the dress is sitting how it's supposed to. I know it's trivial but I'm so disappointed and I can't stop crying :(

Aww sorry to hear how disappointed you were, my dress is a lace up at the back but at the dress shop they can come out to help you get into it, I don't think i'd feel comfortable with anyone else doing it up other than the dress people because they know how tight it's supposed to be etc.

I just want to ask you.......while you were wearing it did you feel it was too loose? or did it make you feel like a princess? The reason I ask is because, if you felt like a beautiful bride, then its only your photos that shows it in not such a complimentary way, and MAYBE your photographer could do some jiggery-pokery to make it look more flattering........
AmyK is right, do a rock the frock shoot.......and if you can get it looking exactly like the wedding day.......IE make up hair and flowers, the venue might also allow you to photograph in their grounds, then you could put them strategically in your album .....

aww huni. That's so sad that the pics of you are upsetting you. Think about all the lovely things that happened on your day, all the romance, how you felt and focus on that. I'm sure you still looked radiant and beautiful in the way only a bride can xxx
