    CAN ANYBODY HELP ME , IM LOOKING TO BOOK MY WEDDING AN IM WANTING A REALLY POSH LOOKING RECEPTION BUT NOT AT A RIDICULOUS PRICE TAG , I LIVE IN EAST YORKSHIRE ABOUT HALF HOUR OUT OF YORK AND TEN MINS OUT OF GOOLE, CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A VENUE AN CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY REVIEWS PLEASE IM PULLING MY HAIR OUT , I WANT TO GET BOOKED BUT CANT DECIDE ON ANYWHERE SUITABLE , WAS THINKING OF A MARQUEE BUT THEN WHERE TO PUT IT PLEASE HELP . X :

    Have you looked on this website. Search on <a class="postlink" href="http://www.UKbride.co.uk">www.UKbride.co.uk</a> and search your area. That is what i did it is dead easy darling. if there are none then you must go for a drive and visit every posh venue you see and have a wander. I could imagine that being a nice dat to be honest. xx

    Hull Royal Hotels really good, been to a wedding at Portland hotel also really good, Holiday Inn Marina a NO go zone con you out of money and are absolutly rubbish on the day been 2 few weddings there and brides have had to complain on there day and also ordinary booked ours there paid deposit they increased the price by nearly £4,000 in a few months so we pulled out! Hope that helps x

    Im a york bride and im currently looking at places where i can get married and have at least the meal after so using the council website to see who has the licence then if i cant have the reception ill look around

    we had a look at south cave castle last time we were home and also the Beverley arms hotel..or even york paviliion? or you could try the lairgate hotel in beverley

    there is a good site that I used to find a venue

    basically just google Wedding Venues com and it will come up 1st on the list thats not sponsored (highlighted)

    UK Civil Wedding and reception venues, You can search by Venue Location, Venue type, City or town and Venue name

    I'm having mine at Cave Castle in South cave as I only live around the corner, it's beautiful! you have 2 rooms to pick from and I think they have 5 bridal suites, the woman who you see when you look around is lovely and will answer as many questions as you can think of. xx
