    Hi gorgeous brides2b..........

I have found my perfect wedding veil, it is chapel/cathedral length two tier, ivory with swavorski clear crystals set like falling stars......

I immediately fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on with my dress.....but it was £250 in the shop! I have been looking online and cheapest I can find it for is £90 :-(...........

Does anybody know where I could perhaps get a 2nd hand one thats in good condition or cheaper than £90? I was only looking to spend about £40 really....or am I being to tight with my budget?

    xxxxxxx

I had a similar problem - couldn't find a veil i liked at a price i liked. I asked a couple of friends where they got their veils from at a reasonable price and in asking around found that my aunt had my perfect veil stashed away from her wedding a couple of years back! So instead of spending around £150 on a veil, i'm buying her some flowers and borrowing it for the day!

So as an initial idea ask around your family, friends and friends of friends and see if anyone has something similar to lend you. Secondly - keep an eye on bay of e to see if something turns up - especially as wedding season comes to an end - around september/ october/ november as people sell on their wedding stuff. Good luck xxx

I originally wasn't going to have a veil, but I am now, as my Mum has her veil, and I am going to use that. As it is something old, borrowed and it's blue. xx

I'm just having it draped behind me, because I don't want it across my face, as I think it would just irritate me. xx

I got mine off the bay too, excellent cond, only £13 including p&p, looks new!
Not wearing mine over my face either, seen a few pictures with veil attached under a fancy bun hairstyle that I liked, means I can also wear a tiara and feel like a princess for the day lol xx
