Hi all, Im useless at colour schemes/themes etc. Am thinking of vintage/40s/50's theme any ideas how I could bring this in on a budget?!

We havn't got an exact theme just colour scheme... which is blue and silver :)
Ours is a full budget wedding so I just addict myself to ebay and get LOADS of bargains from there :)

i don't think i really have a theme yet, so far my tiara has crystal flowers on so i guess im swaying towards flowers as a theme! for the evening we're having fairylights, lanterns and candles not sure what i can call that theme either lol x
We're having vintage Hollywood - all ivory and black, like the old films :o)

Im having a bit of a mixture to be honest! A bit of 1920s vintage glamor (bm hairs will be in 1920 rolls, brooch bouquet, black lacen invites etc and all our head pieces reflect this era)! I love the film the Labyrinth so got myself a silver wedding dress and having a masquerade reception (its also halloween), loads of fairy lights, Gothic style candelabras and trailing ivy!! x

My theme kind of just happened. My bridesmaids dresses r gonna b in olive green- the samples in the bridal shop were that colour and I just thought 'oh, that's lovely!'-, and then I got into feather and crystal bouquets rather than flowers. So basically my theme is olive green, feathers and crystals.xx

My theme keeps changing as my H2B keeps putting his two cents in, but I'm trying to go for a Country Garden theme - bright coloured flowers which will go through onto the table decorations, so quite basic really.

Sounds like everyone has thought themes through more than me... have googled it now though. Think there may be a very loose 50's theme as we have just booked a vintage 30's car lol!!
Getting married in India will be amazing what a different experience :-)

Steph- that is too cute!!! All my bridesmaids are fully gown.. finding a car that fits 5 full grown bridesmaids in potentially poofy 50's dresses was challenging, so challenging Ive just decied to crush them all in haha

I was hoping I could get my mum in with the bridesmaids on the first run as the car advertises it can take 6 but I think he meant 6 very small children! so poor ole mum will have to make her own way to the church!
