Hello I need your advice please. This is my engagement ring, do I NEED to have wedding ring that fits around it or could I get away with normal wedding ring?? I've tried a few on and found the thicker bands looked better but I'm not sure what to do! Advice needed please TIA xXx

If it were me I would definatly go for a shaped or wishbone wedding ring however it really goes by what you feel is right and comfortable for you. For eg I don't have a solataire engagement ring I have a cross-over eternity band as my engagement ring and a shaped plain wedding band that fits into it which I plan to later have bonded together to make a single ring.

My ring has a smaller twist than yours but I will get a shaped wedding ring its what I personally want and you should go with what you thinks best for you x

Keep trying some on as I always thought I wanted a plain thin band but once I tried it on I realised I wanted some diamond detail, if you can't find right style what about designing your own ? :)
Somehow always connected , finally became friends .

I would probably prefer to have one that fits around it xx
It's personal choice. I have a shaped wedding band and while there is a slight gap (it was originally going to sit totally flush but I had it modified), it fits nicely around my engagement ring. A straight band would have = a huge gap, which I didn't want. But, some people like a gap, or don't want a shaped ring as they want to be able to wear their wedding band solo (personally I'm planning on having a second set with a plain straight palladium band and a solitaire in a palladium bezel setting; so having a second straight band is always an option too)

My wedding band only cost me £180. Because my engagement ring was from H.S@muels and Ern3st Jones (where I got my wedding band) is a sister company to them I got my 10% discount with them so was very happy.

I had murder trying to find a ring that went with my engagement ring. its shaped similar to yours and I hated how the straight bands looked, I ended up with a shaped ring. Mine was from a high street jeweller and only cost me £179
